@Tannergh: yeah. ah well. It's annoying and at the end of the day just a game so, I'm not that bothered. Just a little disappointed at the dev's lack of updates to actually tell you what changed have been made so we have to guess what's different and find out the hard way.
And yes the disappearing magnifying glass is probably due to the Christmas decor... it's a real pain and a waste of energy.
they've tweaked the quests somewhat, so I've lost my progress on them! anyone else experiencing this? :s e.g. colourful wreaths quest.. now you only need to get 5. I'm pretty sure I had more than that, now it says I've got 0. What gives?
Interesting, promising story, good choice of music. However, I do feel this pushes the definitions of 'game' a little, since there was no challenge aside from the collection of orbs, a task which the player has little incentive to complete. I know it's just a prologue, but I was expecting a little more. Still, looking forward to see how this develops...
I had a problem on survival mode where one of the ships was so high up on the screen that i could not possibly see the word to shoot it. Is this because the ship moves down after I shoot the one below it, or is it a bug?
having everything reset every time you die/ respawn is really frustrating, e.g. in Lacste when you move the block along the long corridor to put it on the switch, and then having to do it all over again with the turret and the block.
I'm using Chrome (ver. 20.0.1132.47) and I wasn't able to view some of the options (e.g. the michael atkinson question). I could only view them using the down arrow key, and when I did that, it altered all my answers to the same option. This was very frustrating as I had to use a walkthrough to check that I wasn't just being stupid trying to prove the argument without "Australia is wrong to ban 18+ video games".
sorry. ignore that... i thought it didn't save because it started at the same start screen, but upon further checking my achievements were still there. sorry!
I love it, but I've lost achievements twice: once after playing for 35 min straight, and second when I paused it and the screen hung and didn't display the pause menu. :S disappointed! I will definitely go back to play for them again, but hopefully it doesn't crap up on me again...
so much potential with this and I love all the detail you've put into the art - I spent a lot of time just looking at it (: I enjoyed this taste of a game and I really hope you develop this further! 3/5
I found the controls a little tricky to get around and at times a bit frustrating... maybe a bit of instruction before the game starts could be helpful? other than that, would like to see maybe some powerups, different obstacles etc like the others have said.
