I was expecting the worst when going to COT5 but I have to say it was the easiest of the COTs. I had the Witch, the Mermaid, the Succubus, the Centaur , the Dragon Rider and the Knight equipped. I used the Phoenix , the Freeze and the Hercules spells most and it went smoothly. Maybe lots of range weapons count on this one.
A strategy that worked for me was reserving the very powerful spells to crush the counter attack. I retreated when I heard the rallying horn and used my spells the break as much of the issuing hoard as I could, reserving my troops to further damage the enemy castle.
Not too bad. You can bypass most of the more difficult looking puzzles to create very simple solutions. Stopping hammers from moving, using fans to blow out of the way of bouncers etc...
Beautiful game. Probably one of the easiest hard badges to get; compare it with the Orbital Decay hard badge for instance and you'll see the enourmous discrepancy; but no less satisfying for it. Two thumbs up for the game.
Fantastic game. One of the more satisfying, even if not hardest, hard badges I got. Lovely simile for a lonely struggle in the dark reaches of the protagonists' mind. Two thumbs up.
Hard until you figure out the strategy.
The one that worked for was upgrading the boomerang missile to max and then upgrading the ship and guns to max. Avoid the penultimate spaceships before the second boss by flying over them and letting them pass when you can.
Holy salmons...getting the hard badge was certainly more like work than fun. This warrants an impossible badge if anything does. The game was fun on easy and medium but a constant, sweaty browed race against certain death on hard.
Terrible. Losing all addons and cash when dying makes it worthless. I don't appreciate games that force you to redo every boring bit of them to finish. Died for the first time on the last boss and saw no point in replaying.
Cool game with a good pace. The third level is a real cash cow with which you can get all the power ups early. Love it or hate it, that's how it is. To tame the final boss avoid his shots and release the bullet time while hovering over his body. Time the invincibility right and 4 of those babies will finish the boss of bosses.
Love the game.
Finished it on N.G first with all the achievements. For those who get stuck infront of the laser beam there is a way to stop it. Keep trying to throw a bomb while in the beam and when you momentarily get up you'll let one off. This will blast Waldof off his feet and stop the beam.
Excellent game but there is a problem with the scoring. Even if I have as many kills as the highest scoring opponent and he dies more often I still lose.
