Solving the levels reveals very creative and imaginative pixel art. It is genuinely satisfying to finish the levels and look back at the pictures. The last master level is challenging only insofar as stamina is concerned. The one above it, however, is quite annoying :)
Not a bad generic arcade shooter but the grinding doesn't reward you with enough power to plow through the difficult levels rewardingly enough. More weapon power would be welcome.
Not a bad game at all. The difficulty doesn't progress evenly but who said it has to. Lvl 17 is probably the hardest in the game. Took a while but it was satisfying to solve.
This is a brilliant game. I didn't realize it until it slowly dawned on me how huge the levels were, how appropriate the homage done to the commander Keen style games is and how good the humor was. The comedy is morbid and witty and makes the most of the archetypal family-romantic relationship stereotype. Very cool. 5/5 from me.
After collecting coins in MoneySeize, no coin collecting has ever seemed difficult... This is a sweet little game. If you don't register the Medium challenge, just reload the game and play level 3 , or any coin bearing level again.
@iblob That's no problem at all. If the robot comes to a river and he can only carry one creature over, he takes the Cat with him over to the other bank. Next, he returns and takes the Dog over, leaving the Dog on the second bank and returns with the Cat. He then takes the Fish over to the other bank and, finally, returns for the Cat.
Not bad. Makes the most of a simple concept. The hard badge was quite difficult to get...which is just what hard badges should be.
On a side note..first prize for someone who can make an object blink a few times and dissapear :) It seems to be such a popular thing in games.
Nothing out of the usual but still entertaining. The fight against the enraged barbarian was disproportionately difficult. I kept expecting the bosses after him to pull something special out of their sleeves but they were ridiculously easy compared to him.
Finally...25th day..both my Paladin and Rogue lay dead at the feet of a severely wounded dragon...and a greedy mage who barely made it to 13..and between you and me I suspect he was there only for the gold..came and finished the dragon off. Phew..what an epic struggle.
Sweet game and an even sweeter song you know where... I would suggest being able to sell the items you gather to an adventurer's guild so you don't have to delete or have them crowd your inventory. Also, it would be nice to see a stat for every character so we can evaluate which is the best item combination we can use for them.
This little guy can sure take a fall.
This is a wonderful little game. The gameplay is simple yet immersive and the story, while following tried and tested avenues, is archetypal enough to be appealing. Very nice. 5/5 from me.
Try this strategy for success on the later levels. Fry 12 medium patties as soon as the store opens. You can easily convert them into well done ones when needed and the rare ones take seconds to prepare. That way, provided you have the heater purchased, you don't need to do much frying afterwards.
The last level is hard but if you manage to build enough salvages you don't need anything other than a well timed surge in shotgun toting farmers to finish the level. 50 angry farmers and the occasional combine harvester were enough to keep everything at bay and destroy the zombie base.
