you can explot the AI by staying to the left of the enemy UFO. By moving up and down slightly it will rotate in the opposite direction to try to aim at you. This is a simple problem to fix when you are checking the player's angle to the enemy.
if you're going to rip off puzzle quest then you should do a better job of it. Get some abilities in there and a way to customise your character other than picking fire of ice spells to fight with.
Brilliant, the combat system is better than most comercial RPGs. The story is almost non-existent but the voice acting carries it well. Nice twist at the end though.
The game is okay, there needs to be a greater emphasis on tactics, units should do alot more damage to certain enemies compared to others X2 or X3 more. There really, really needs to be a charge indicator, when you have the release button held down you can't see the message that tells you a charge is ready. Get a combo counter or a charge bar or something so you can plan ahead when to release a charge. There needs to be an option to sell or remove troops from the troops selection menu. Capturing map locations should give you a bonus of some sort, faster troop deploy or better archers. Taking enemy locations should make their army weaker. Just some general points to add polish to the game. Currently 3/5
If anyone is having trouble with this game I think you should try using the gravity pointing toward a wall or ceiling as this lets you walk up walls and across ceilings (easier if you have 2 anomalies). I read that people thought the last level was hard and I suspected that they tried to jump the blades.
On a random note: this game makes me look forward to valve's portal even more XD
A 5 for creativity. The music isn't too bad but the voice of the detective started to annoy me after a couple minutes. If he only made one noise at the start of each conversation then it would have been alright
Great game, finished it in one go. Didn't notice any of the problems mentioned below. The all round shield could do with a health meter of timer though but I see why you really need it in the later levels. Could do with different boss types and have them turn faster cos they just sit still for a lot of the time while turning back. There was one odd thing with the collision detection with the larger tanks when they start to jam up the corners when new tanks want to get in. Sometimes they would get repeled off the field really fast. Other than that, no bugs to report.
