I played this just long enough for the Bonus Points from the Badge. HOWEVER, I played the demo and full version on Steam a few years ago. Definitely one of the greatest TD games of all time! (Also, I didn't know you could unlock the full version on Kongregate with Kreds! I'm satisfied with the Steam Version, though.)
I played this for the Badge and Kongpanion. At first, I figured this was yet another "Kingdom Rush" clone, but the side-view and "Shadow of the Colossus"-esque way you fight the Giants freshens it up! Good job! (I had trouble with the first level at first, but I finally won by having Archers on the floating island and barracks along the ground level. I lost my hero in the end, but the Golem was weak enough by then that the Archers finished the job.)
I played this for today's Badge (happy Halloween, by the way!). Another great game by Bart Bonte! Some of the levels almost broke my brain (15 in particular), though. X-D I should check out the "Factory Balls" games...
I tried to play this for the Badge of the Day (considering who the Kongpanion is, it seemed fitting), but I had major performance issues like some other people are having, so I gave up. Too bad, it seems neat (nice music, too!).
I played this game for today's Badge. It's really not that long, but I really like the theme and look you have going on, and while I had moments where I feared I was stuck, I was nevertheless able to figure out what to do in the end (trying and clicking everything helps), and those "A-ha!" moments were pretty good. Great job!
Does anyone else have problems with the Secondary Weapons not working (or am I missing something)? Anyway, interesting game (with a badace heroine, to boot!), but due to the aforementioned bug(?) and how tough it is to survive the Bullet Hell after the first two levels, I don't think I'll be able to get the Badge for this one this week. Sorry. :-(
I played this for the Badge when I saw it had Bonte's name on it. Very nice little puzzle game (thanks for the tip about the two owl level, Ursegol)! :-)
Finally got the Badge! :-D (@ fadeshiro: I was beginning to suspect that myself, TBH!) Anyhoo, this is actually a nice little SHMUP with a unique, literally hand-drawn art style. Gameplay-wise, it feels rather like a lite version of "Tyrian" (my all-time favorite SHMUP) or "Raptor". Good job!
I played this for the Badge. At first, it didn't seem too interesting ("The fire crackles warmly."), but then things picked up with my first story decision, and [SPOILERS!!]it soon became a very nice and heartwarming little tale (I always picked the nicest options when prompted)[SPOILERS!!]. :-) Pity it's so short, but since you made it for a contest, it probably had to be that way. Great job!
Played this for the badge, nice lightgunish shooter you have here! :-) (It would have been better for me to play it with a gaming mouse, but I don't have one on my laptop where I do Kongregate games anymore...just a personal remark.)
Even though this isn't typically my kind of game, I decided to try it for the Badge anyway. Definitely a deep and intense strategy game! I ultimately retreated after a while (I don't think my game was that long), but I got my crate for the Badge! (@ N00bSaibot: Is that where the sounds and voices came from? Hmm.)
I played this for today's badge...very interesting and different game! Also, it jogged my memory about many of the things I learned from the Standard Deviants' "Dissected World of Biology" videos I watched roughly last decade (NOOO, I'M LEARNING! J/K). :-)
I played this for the Badge, because I'm fond of this series. At first, I thought it was just a basic TD game...until I discovered how the tower classes and upgrades work in it! Nice! :-)
