Decided to revisit this game because of the total visual overhaul, because I figured it would be the perfect opportunity for a fresh start after I mysteriously lost my progress (along with those of a bunch of other games here) last year. Good work (maybe you should get rid of the references to Treasure clicking in the game because you click the ground not, though). Also, yay for Cloud Save (I'm still doing an Export this time around for safety, though)!
When I bookmarked this game on my Playlist yesterday because I wanted to do it for Today's Badge, I expected a typical Tower Defense game...I did NOT expect a Match 3 (or 5, in this case)/Tower Defense hybrid! I was astonished, especially since you made this for one of those quick game making contests! My only gripes are that it'd be nice to be able to sell/dismantle unwanted gear as you get new and better ones, and that (and this is just me, probably), I found myself paying more attention to the symbol matching and letting the rest of the game play itself (not completely, hopefully obviously). X-D Anyway, congrats on making a cool hybrid game that exceeded my preconceived expectations! :-D
It's been a while since I played a "Papa" game for a Badge, and like most of the other games in this series I played so far, I like this one. This one struck me as easier than others for some reason, and it didn't have the fatal scoring glitch that plagued one of the entries I played so far (can't remember which exactly now). Anyway, good work!
I played this one for the Badge. I've always enjoyed your games, and while this one is comparatively more conventional than others you've made, I really like your take on the Metroidvania genre. Good job as usual!
Didn't play this for the Badge. This is *THE* best game I never played. ;-D ([SPOILER!]As for your question about how goats can sell games...Google "Goat Simulator" :->[SPOILER!])
When I saw this among the Badges for this week, I knew I had to play it on Christmas, and I just did! I like how this game had some puzzle solving to it. It reminds me of the escape games I like to play on tablets. Good job, and Merry Christmas! :-)
I played this for today's Badge. I must at admit that I initially thought it was something that was cute yet very simple, but I soon realized that there was more to it than just that, since you go back through the levels to find each of what the cat wants. I also like that you involved your kids in its creation, too! Congrats on making a short yet interesting hidden object game!
Is anyone else experiencing a fatal bug where you make someone's pizza right, but they completely flunk you on the Cooking part and you're stuck with it? That's too bad, 'cause I was having fun up until that bug started hitting me around Day 7, and so I've given up on today's Badge... (I still support the "Papa's" series and their Badges in general so far, though!)
When I saw from a Game Spotlight ad earlier on my Favorites that this was finally out, I knew I HAD to start playing it! Congrats on making another cool and accessible Bullet Hell game! It's awesome! (I'm NOT lying. [WINK])
I played this game for today's Badge, this is a very nice Metroidvania game you have here! (Good music, too!) Also, the game personally and broadly reminds me of the old Apogee game "Hocus Pocus", probably because they're both sidescrollers starring wizards. (Heh.)
I got on here for today's Badge but wound up playing for much longer and got 73.20% of the Achievements. This game is as genius as the others I've played by you so far.
The email I got from Kongregate last Saturday said nothing about this week's Kongpanion...boy, was I pleasantly surprised to see that there was not only a new Kongpanion, but that this game (which I beat last month) has today's Badge of the Day for it! Congrats once again!
@ Cheski: Thanks, but it's working for me today (maybe because I clicked "Play" BEFORE doing Cinematic Mode). I'd still like to know how to do that, though! :-)
thanks!
