Is anyone else having problems with every screen beyond the main menu being off-center so the playing area is pushed to the lower-right offscreen? I'd like to earn Sunday's Badge of the Day for this, but if the game's currently broken... :-(
A little over four years ago, my Dad came across this game and played it a bit. I later got it for my Kindle, but today, I played it for the very first time here on Easy for the Badge. I decided to see my game through after that...I lost on day 117, but that was way longer than I expected! Anyway, great job on this game!
Wow, I played this for today's Badge, and I must say this is a really neat take on the SHMUP! I just wish that the characters moved faster (I'm using mouse controls), and that if your chosen Leader character is downed, then the next person's special Skill can be used (I do have Selena's Resurrection skill, if that makes any difference). Still, great job! (BTW, all those who think that Josh looks like Disney's version of Aladdin, raise your hand.)
While I wasn't able to do today's Badge because I ran out of time for today (I already have this past week's Kongpanion, though), I still think this is a nice game! It reminds me of the puzzle game in the 6th generation "Pokémon" games' Pokémon-Amie mode. I'm also glad you have a Preview function to help you complete the puzzles. At first, I felt it was cheating even though I used it, but it soon became clear that's it's necessary for some levels (until you're good enough to beat them without an aid, of course). Good job!
Phew, I finally figured out how to beat the final boss (Normal)! This series got off to a good start with this game, but I didn't know until I went through the Gallery that you had even more games before this one than I thought! BTW, I like your choice of songs for this game (my personal favorite being the "Gurren Lagann" tune used in the Regice and Regirock boss fights).
I played this game for the Badge...nice little dungeon crawler you've got here! I really like the Sacrifice system that lets you convert unwanted items into Experience Points, too! I just wish the character walked faster. (Yes, you can increase the Speed, but it seemed to me that he still moved slow unless I was walking straight to the left or right...I'm very early in the game, though.)
I've just played this for today's Badge, and I like it, especially when I got another car, and discovered that you can have more than one in play (all controlled by you)! Good job!
I've played this game before awhile as part of the Cuteness Overload Quest, so I've already got the Achievement for this week's Kongpanion (congrats on having a Badge of the Day, BTW!).
Anyway, I liked this game all right, though probably because I didn't personally experience major lag...yet? (I haven't played all the way through, BTW) I hope LionInsideOfMe's post helps other people with it!
Played this 'cause it's one of the Kongpanion games this week (and today's game drove me batty). I had to look up the solutions for a few of the levels online, but this is a really genius little game! Great job!
Finally completed the Cuteness Overload quest with this game!
Anyway, nice little game! I wish I had more control over what stats I could choose on leveling up (bug or not?), but I had fun (the last dungeon and boss were challenging!). Also, your daughter's voicework was awesome, and I think it's really neat how you, as a parent, involved her in your game's creation.
Anyhoo, off to pick my unearned Kongpanion!
I played this for the Cuteness Overload question, and I'd like to say that I was surprised and impressed by how you handled and presented the superficially morbid subject matter in a way that made it not unpleasant! Kudos! (And yes, the soundtrack is rockin'!)
I've started playing this for the Cuteness Overload Quest badge, and so far, I'm enjoying it! To me, it feels like a cross between a Behemoth Brothers game (e.g. "BattleBlock Theater") and a Pendleton Ward cartoon (e.g. "Adventure Time").
Congrats on having a Badge of the Day (tomorrow's, actually) on one of your games! :-D
Anyway, this entry seems to focus on the battles, but that's okay! (One of these days, I should beat the second and third rounds of the Steam version "Epic Battle Fantasy 4"...)
