Badges are working now but I'm not sure what triggered it. I started a game and half way through noticed I had the badge that I got earlier and the easy badge I got 7 years ago.
For Rationalism, you need to discover Writing and it is locked if you select Piety.
For Pacifism, you need to discover Navigation and it is locked if you select Militarism
White pixels slow things down way too much and it gets considerably worse as you get more upgrades. Not to mention white pixels seem to avoid foresight 95% of the time.
@ZebraArts I didn't collect all the exp from the stage before finishing it and I can't replay to get the missing 2 exp. Lost my interest in playing the game at that point because it is already annoyingly slow even with all exp put into click speed up, production speed up, and cost reduction. I guess that's the "idle" part but it just doesn't feel rewarding. Losing out on exp is just punishment.
You can reset upgrades as many times as you want without penalties, try different combinations. Many levels can be beaten with different strategies. If a level seems too slow, click Abort and try a different approach.

Hold the upgrade button for a half a sec. First time switches to multipliplicator to the end of the level. Second time to all the gold you have. Good luck in battles!
You are correct. Cannot play this on Linux. The hire screen showed 2 people already "Edda Silenteye" and "Nora Chosker", if that helps. I bought a new person for 64(free) gold and they did not show up. The fight screen says "there is nobody there..." when I try to select anyone. Was able to fight by dismissing the second slot, recruiting another, dismissing them, and recruit another. Still was unable to select the second person. Completing the mission did not get gold and now I can't select anyone again. It's unfortunate you used flash. :( PM me if you want me to try again.
it seems the soil issue is caused by the Enemy that I thought I killed but apparently didn't. The numbers were right but something isn't right when the Group tabs determine whether you can afford it.
No idea what is happening but the Buildings and Workers tabs says I can't afford an amount of soil when I can. ex. 3.62e7 when I have 1.24e8 soil. seems to be a percent maybe. other resources are fine and directly buying (ex. farmer or mine) is fine. Just soil in group tabs (Building/Workers).
I don't know why this game has a server but the client should at least have the npc items/quest/text loaded ahead of time. I had to go to the tutorial to find out that the empty quest list was only because I didn't wait 30 seconds for the quest to load. Died twice before that.
Score is not balanced with upgrades. While "Bug parts multiplier" increases leveling speed it also greatly lowers score. "Attack power" might cause the same problem. I'd suggest basing score on bug parts but then everyone would get the same score if they beat the game. I suck at balancing btw.
Note for players: if you see "Remember my progress" [ ] above "NEXT LEVEL" when you finish a level, click the box so it is white. This saves your game so you can come back to it later.
Note to developer: to me it really wasn't clear if it was selected. Also, why is that even an option if once you go to the next level with it selected the option goes away for good?
Still a 5/5 game for me.
I like the idea. The game feels very slow though. Perhaps increasing movement speed and reducing cooldowns could improve the game. Bosses might need more health to balance the cooldowns.
