Game seems to be broke. I get a screen that only 1/4 of what should be shown and I can't walk any further than that. If I change my zoom in IE to a lower stetting, it shows the whole screen but much smaller than it should be and the game still won't let me at the boss.
Needs better AI, enemies getting stuck in the environment. I also found myself spamming the rocket launcher and ignoring the other weapons. I liked being able to jump on other objects, I suggest putting a nice pickup hidden somewhere up high to reward exploration. Graphics look nice as well. If you're going to make this a multilevel game, in between levels, make a shop screen where you can spend those points you earned killing aliens buy either getting a better weapon at the start of the next stage or perhaps upgrades. Oh, you should be able to start the stage with at least the weakest gun.
It's annoying to have to fight level 3 and 4 champions with a level 1 champion. Put some dummy players in for each level to fight so there's a better than a slim chance to level up an new champion.
Game got stuck after I defeated an enemy. All the controls still worked but it didn't give me the victory screen. Only happened once so far after about 10 battles.
Combining 5 swords only gives you five hits, that kinda sucks. To help relieve the frustration factor of not getting enough drops at times, give a bonus multiplier for keys, swords, shields, and health. A combo of 4 counts as 5, 5 counts as 7, 7 counts as 11. So in a nut shell, any more than a match of three counts a double for each additional one.
A short ingame tutorial at the begining would be great. Then hints (that you can turn of in an options menu) for when you're exposed to new stuff. Three save slots that can be erased would be awesome. It'll allow players to explore the game different ways and not feel stuck if they played their game really wrong.(They'd just start a new one)
My settings keep getting reset each time I play. My save files are fine but the graphics revert to medium and the control scheme goes back to mouse. Is it the game or are my settings a bit off? Help please.
I don't like to have to hit the same button again to get out of the menu. Feels a bit clumsy. You have to hit map(for instance) to turn it on(Which is fine) but you have to move your mouse back down to the map icon again once you're done poking at it with your cursor. I'd be great if you could hit the ESC key or other type of hot key to close the menu you're in so you could get back to your adventure all that much sooner. Thanks for a great game by the way.
I notice in multiplayer that when you lose, when the other player get to choose death or mercy, the game will just hang sometimes. There's still animation and stuff but it doesn't go to the gold and exp screen. This only happens sometimes but I think it may have to do with the other player not choosing the death or mercy option so the loser is just stuck. If I'm correct, could you make a timout option for that?
You need an "I give up" button. When your characters are unable to attack and you have to wait 15 turns for your characters to bleed to death is a bit frustrating and boring. + if you agree.
Check your zoom settings your browser. The page must be at 100% (actual size) any zooming in or out messes everything up.
