Not bad! The animations in the main menu are still uber laggy, though. Also, I was running into a glitch where sometimes after losing a game, when you click on one of the difficulty buttons to start a new one, it shows you the game over screen. And, if you're going to use the mouse to aim, it would probably make things a little more convenient if you made the mouse button do the shooting, instead of spacebar. Looking good!
Not bad, not bad. Yes, glitchy, but fortunately you included a "reset" button so it's not so frustrating. You should think about adding in some logic to watch and see if the player reaches a stalemate, where no more moves are possible. I agree with these other guys, there really are much worse games around here! Like theButton.
Hooray, it works now! Nice game, well-implemented and creative. In a lot of Flash games where things are "coming at you" in a 3D-ish manner, play gets frustrating, but you managed to pull it off here pretty well.
Um... dunno if I lost the game and it just didn't continue to gameover screen, or it's a glitch, but... my entire web disappeared, and everything froze - including the "+5" and "+ heart" etc. messages in the air. I can't exit, have to refresh the page. I'm only on the first level, so it doesn't bum me yet. Seems like an interesting game.
Oops! Forgot that I had fast-forward on... Neat game, good look and feel. A good variety of options, but I didn't feel overloaded either. Not exactly ground-breaking, but still enjoyable.
Technically superior, but then that's the problem. The instructions are kind of hard to follow... This is probably going to get classified as a learning game and, in a site where the majority of players are older boys and young men looking for a break from work/school, that will probably hurt in the long run.
Well, the art is pretty good. I can't say unit graphics are that great, but everything else looks sharp and very LOTR (as PJ would have it, at least). Even if play is nearly identical to bowmaster, it's been put together pretty well. Though I'm still trying to figure out why my crossbow randomly decides to stop working once in a while - hopefully that's not an intended game feature. IMHO, this is a high 3/5, so I'll just round it up to 4.
When I run from a battle, the point allocation screen tells me I earn some points, but when I go to camp I still have the same points I had before the battle began.
Hm, never built a single infantry unit. Turrets alone can win the game... Still, a cool idea. I caught you using the catapault sound effect from the first AoE collection, though! :P
