cool, thoughtful. needs more replay value though, perhaps consider including other obstacles, or something that exploits the fact that youre no longer limited to pencil and paper :)
music was a hair above horrible, thanks for the mute button. the game idea was pretty unoriginal, graphically unappealing, hit areas didn't seem to quite match the shapes of the objects, overall a pretty unsatisfying experience.
excellent! the language puzzle at the end was bogus though; it was more of a guessing game that you cant be sure you've won, than a puzzle. still, this game was very well done, im thoroughly impressed. you guys clearly know what youre doing. just wish the medium badge was working...
love the music, i remember playing this game a long time ago. largely about luck, but also about patience. very enjoyable, and its always nice to score 100% on a level.
fun! if youre good with a mouse. if you suck with a mouse, i can see why you'd complain - the game was clearly designed under the assumption that you have some degree of ability with mouse drawing. might be a more successful game in the eyes of the unskilled if it was programmed with greater consideration for their suckiness.
menu pointer's kind of annoying, only really moves smoothly if you move the mouse quickly. in play, if you catch the (+) powerup, and the ball is moving fast enough, you can lose even though you catch the ball (your sling stretches below the screen). the music is okay, but a little too repetitive. otherwise, it's a nice take on the pong classic, i'd love to see it further refined.
meh. maybe i just couldn't figure it out, but i dont think you can see what weapons do until you click on them, and clicking on a weapon buys it. that kinda bugged me. Also, i dont like being able to die after the mission is complete, in the seconds between completion and being beamed out of the battle field. the movement also felt a bit clunky, compared to the responsiveness of aiming with the mouse. still, i'd say the game was above average overall.
the song is a remix of daft punk's technologik. i'd love to know how you got the rights to use it in a commercial production (SARCASM! i know you didn't, this is illegal).
i agree with the majority, it's frustrating to have to go through all the menus to restart the game, considering how easy it is to lose. additionally, i don't like how there's no way to know how close to the ground you are, so the entire game basically relies on luck. it's not particularly original, and gameplay isn't that interesting. however it is well implemented for what it is, and it is simple enough for a decent coffee break game, but I think my time is better spent elsewhere.
pretty cool. challenging, and fairly original. not overly complex, graphically and mechanically interesting, with a significant amount of the creators particular style infused. i also like the active backgrounds, it creates a good atmosphere. overall, pretty well done, imho.
