I can't seem to figure out the firing arcs for spotter balloons, as some missions I can shoot them from but not the back without getting attacked and other missions it's the back but not the front... is it just a range issue, like with the big zeppelin?
I also think that the basic gameplay system could be expanded to include all kinds of armies.
What are the battle ranks, by the way? I haven't seen a list.
It would be REALLY nice if the hotkeys for the clearing/killing items worked as having to manually click everything on your way to full max is unnecessarily hard on the mouse hand.
My major gripe is that it's maddeningly inconsistent with what kinds of proper nouns and compound words and such it will accept. It also is missing some terms like "geas."
Well, Siberian, beating Loki is kind of a crapshoot because depending on how he moves it can be completely impossible to dodge his attacks. You want to keep as much range from him as possible and rotate around the outside like MadCrimson said... when I did it I didn't have excalibur and I was at like, level 70 upgrades so I had to go to three overdrives. That was hard.
THELs need to do like, 50% more damage and have maybe 25% more range. Either that or be a lot cheaper. Right now they're just not cost-competitive with missile launchers, even factoring in the cost of missiles... if you want to take out ring ships, regular lasers are better.
Man, I seriously have no luck in games. Grenades are magnetically attracted to my bunkers, and an arty blitz wave just put a shell directly on each of my troops' heads.
Better, sure. It's much more refined. It's sort of like Mario 3 vs. Mario 1. But both Mario games are platformers. It seems weird that this gets categorized as action and the other as "sports," I think.
The game is great, it's very challenging. I do have to take issue with your statement in the protectopedia that skills are "not essential for any map," though, given that there's a map which features flying infect-immune monsters with extremely high armor. These are physically impossible to kill without an archer, which requires skill points to obtain.
The game is fine but good lord, you HAVE to get rid of the stupid shaking effect from the rocket towers. It's hell on the eyes and it's basically constant when you have rockets up.
