Bit of a bug with the familiar patch. The dragons of any size will kill boars but then the meat stays on the ground. The dragon doesn't automatically eat it and you can't pick it up. I still like the familiars though.
2* Finish the game, get the bugs out of it and it'll get more. It is a fun game, but having to refresh every time you die and making the 3rd upgrade effectively useless means you're not done making it. Finish the game and we'll talk about 4*
Maybe another medal for all achievements or perfect all levels would be appropriate. All achievements is easy enough. Maybe medium/hard. But perfect all impossible O.O
Fun game but the freezing kills it for me. I see a lot of other complaints like this too. I don't think it's my system i'm running a ryzen, an ssd, although I admit my video card is still a 3gb7950 it should not cause a flash game to freeze.
5* because it is an absolute blast. However there are some glaring inarguable flaws.
1. Memory leak. After playing for a bit you'll find the game slows down. Closing and re-opening your browser will fix this but it's a pain.
2. Can't sort students. Maybe not an issue right out of the gate but certainly a pain later. They're sorted alphabetically. The names start randomized, so it effectively means nothing.
3. A couple quests are broken. 1 I suspect is legitimately unwinnable. You need to kill all the enemies within a set timer but there's a spawn point that ensures there is always 4 out at any given time. Even with 4x30 students I couldn't complete it.
4. Controlling the group. Holy hell they don't listen. Double click or no the AI is borked.
With all these complaints in mind I still enjoyed the game and gave it 5*. I look forward to the release of red covenant whenever it's finished :-)
OMG a combination of my most hated kinds of games. This is my kryptonite! Still it was oddly fun and the music was good. Just playing it up to the first badge though. I won't rate it cause this is definitely not meant for me XD
This game is an absolute blast. Hit the tutorial first to figure out the basics. The first run through is to just put what you've learned to use. After that go for the hard badge. I think the 2nd run through it's possible to get the hard badge but I took a couple tries finding the best approach for me. Didn't take long overall and loved every minute of it :-D
Not a bad game but too many of the zombies look the same but aren't considered the same type. This makes the Selectioner and Killer modes needlessly frustrating. I mean you can't lose in either of these modes, but is that shirt black or a slightly darker black? Do they want the small one or the slightly less small one?
I love the part where an enemy stands on the edge of the screen and if you swipe even a little off the edge the red lines stays and you stand there until you die :-) that's awesome.
I see other people with the same complaints. Fun game, neat concept, but it's a precision platformer that... isn't that precise. Namely getting close to the sawblades, rather than touching them, kills you. I found puking momentum while jumping to be very inconsistent/imprecise.
Still it was fun until badge 1, but those little nitpicks will make me murder someone or something before the end of chapter 5 so I'm out. Have fun everyone.
All things considered a very fun game. The start of each level needs a little focus but after about a minute into each level it feels super slow. I feel a speed slider/multiplyer would be a good addition.
From day 1-6 I just went pure zergling rush (weakest unit spawned like crazy). It may have worked for 7 too but by then I had the dragon unlocked so i mixed them in here and there. Same with level 8, started zergling rush and finished off with dragons. So maybe a little re-balancing is called for.
Poor controls: There's a reason running simulators that only function on one axis use the keyboard in some way or left the mouse be optional, especially when the character doesn't keep up with the mouse. Decorative objects block the screen, enemies, attacks, and hazards often enough to be annoying. Not a bad game, but the controls get in the way of it being fun and worth finishing.
You can pick it up with Z (you should see a tooltip when you walk near the meat).
