I really like it, but it's almost impossible (and too frustrating to be fun) to play on my laptop without a mouse. I know you probably want to not make it too easy, but please do make the bounding boxes slightly bigger next time.
Good job, dude! Not too crazy about the fact that you have to control with the mouse AND hold down the mouse button. You might as well just let it auto fire so players' don't have to sit and clench their mouse all the time. 4/5, and 5/5 if you change it.
Less clumsily articulated: By letting us generate content for your game, we help increase the replayability of your game which increases your ad revenue. Why on Earth would we PAY to help YOU make money?
Spoiler and rant alert: I love a good adventure game, but the puzzles are too random and inconsistent. The drag-door is just silly when everything else is point and click, and it is pretty near impossible to guess that you should put your stick in the hole on the first ladder when there is no indication that the hole is even an active part of the game world (most things that you can use/click turn your cursor into a hand - this hole didn't, and iirc neither did the eyes in the statue that you put the round stones in.) We are your players - not your adversaries. 2/5 for good production value, though.
There is too much grinding. Have to re-do level time and time and time again in order to be able to afford required upgrades for next level. This is not made more fun by the facts that there is no way to speed up each fight, and that the +gold ability doesn't seem to work.
I guess the idea is okay, but the controls feel awful. You are either going so fast that you have to simply trial and error until you know all levels by heart, or you have to go so slow that it isn't really fun. The music is genuinely good, though! 2/5
I am never going to understand those developers that think people will spend anywhere NEAR what a areal AAA-title costs. As far as I am concerned, those games are basically just clogging up Kongregate's rating and (worse) reward/badges system.
I'm sorry, but between the sluggish steering and the zoom, this game just doesn't do it for me. I really, REALLY liked where it was going, though - kind of a Pirates battle sim but with objectives. If the steering is changed and control of the zoom is left with the user, this could be fantastic. 3/5
This is one of the worst balanced games I have ever played in my entire life. If three tanks standing at the foot of a tower can lose to one enemy tank, you have simply failed at game design. I have started level 2 four times now, and envitably end up in a one-step-forward-one-step-backward infite loop (after my six-hp tank loses to a three-hp tank!). It looked so promising. 1/5.
Apart from the glitches I really enjoyed myself. but shame on Kongregate for making the 10-cities badge when that is obviously a broken aspect of the game. Were you drunk or otherwise impaired when you wrote the algorithm for city battles? 4/5.
