Are you not supposed to be able to use skills once you buy them with XP? Because none of them show up as active for me even when I apparently have the right number of points to use them on a puzzle
Make sure to upgrade the homing missiles last. They'll keep you from hitting the ground during low fuel far more than anything else. I focused on upgrading the miners first, since they were on the ground
The ghosts should always drop an item when "killed". It seems like less then half the time I kill a ghost that it actually leaves behind an item, and only the rate of ghosts appearing changes when buying the buff before a round, they still seem to actually drop stuff less than half the time.
There should be Gold, Silver, and Bronze packs for the racers who place. If only the first place racer gets an special booster pack, there is no point in indicating the second and third place finishers.
The Notebook Wars series is great and I've enjoyed playing each iteration so far. But I have a suggestion for future installments -- how about making the bomb upgradeable too?
I'm fine with the permanent death aspect of the game but it would be nice is there was some carry over between the previous play through and the current one. For example, on the next play through the player begins with one of the items they were using before when they died.
