So what is the character exactly? It seems like a phoenix. Egg -- egg+legs -- hatchling -- young phoenix (some flight) -- adult phoenix -- fully energized
Started playing and the game is fun to play -- can't wait to finish and move on to parts 2 and 3. The "sticky keys" bug is frustrating though. I don't think it's fair to place the blame for it completely on IE, especially when the so called "fix" is to weaken browser security.
Nice game oveall. The controls need some tweaking -- we need to be able to select the talking options with just the keyboard (IE arrow keys to move, and space ket to selet).
Why does minor heal cost a whopping 25 MP? Fire & Earth Strike (and I assume others) only cost a mere 7 MP to cast, please lower the casting cost for minor heal down to the 7-12 MP range.
I like Mahjong Connect but this sequel seems to be clunkier than the original & WOW versions. For example the you have to mute the game for every level.
The items are a nice addition to game play and so is the "map". Having more levels to play through smooths out the difficulty ramp nicely.
To permanently add a recruit to your team you need to first buy the House upgrade from the TOWER.
Then you'll be able to go to the BARRACK where you can view your team and their skills. Off the the right there will be a NPC labeled recruit -- click on them and you can view their skills.
After reviewing the NPC's skills and want them on your team click on RECRUIT in the lower right corner, if you want to see someone different you can use 2 AP to change NPC or just wait until the next round.
The game just froze on me at the "won 3 turns" message [it's a "level" 2 battle, if that helps].
The timer is way to short - there's just barely enough time to choose an option much less actually put some thought into the decision.
Overall, it a pretty decent game - with a little more polish it'll probably be better still.
Overall this is a pretty good game. But when your web fails it seems fail all at once especially when the larger bugs [butterflies, queen bees, stag beetles] start flying through regularly.
Perhaps adding a "super spinning" ability that puts up a new usable web could balance out the full web collapse. Connect "super spinning" to a timer or recharge bar so it can't be over used.
Hmm... I'm only part way through and am in the room with the two wall puzzles. The one of the left with the math problems doesn't follow for the Order of Operations on the last (furthest right) digit. PEMDAS
