Found another issue -- this one with the Charisma skill. While it does sucessfully decrease the purchase price for goods, it also decreases my sell price. The skill should increase the amount I can sell goods for -- ideally by an equal amount it decreases the purchas price. ---- For example the knippels originally sell/buy for $1000. With 1 point in Charisma the purchase price is reduced to $949 -- however instead of my sell price going up, I only get $949. The price I can sell a knippel for should go up to $1051.
Thanks for the comment about using the number pad to fire the special rounds, Jebejarjar. Unfortunately, I'm playing on a laptop so the new weapons are useless right now. Dmitryburlakov, please adjust the game so we can also use the regular number keys as well as the number pad keys.
Also, I can not access the map (and other items on the in game menu) by pressing the tab key. Was this function mapped only to one tab key? My laptop keyboard only has the left tab key. I can backdoor my way to the map/menu by pressing Escape for the "quit game" prompt and declining, but I should not have to do that.
I was having a difficult time with level 12 and went to the walkthrough for a hint. For some reason this release of the game is different to the one used for the walkthrough. Everything from Level 3 on is changed (except for level 12 of the walkthrough is the same as level 11 in the game). I'm not past level 12 yet so I don't know if the trend continues.
It's nice having a walkthrough link within the game, but it's worthless if the walkthrough is for a different version of the game.
Mana Pearls are a part of what determines the title you earn when you die. You can select up to two titles, once earned, when you play. For example, once you earn the title DEVASTATING it can be selected for a +5 bonus to Strength and a +5 bonus to Intellect. Another great title is EPIC, it gives +3 to all stats. BONEBANE is cool too, it gives you +50% damage to skeletons.
-- BOLT is a very useful spell, (even when focusing on melee) so be sure to hold onto an item that you can swap to when needed. Another excellent spell is SHIELD -- it always blocks 3 hits no matter how powerful the enemy. When in your INVENTORY screen, you can rearrange your equipped spells by dragging them to different spots. You can also drag duplicate spells from the spell bar by dropping them off the spell bar. If you accidently remove the wrong spell from the list don't worry, merely unequip & re-equip the item with the spell to get the spell back.
Bonus points for the "Sword of Ormens" {a Thundercats reference for those wondering}. But why no similar reference for Masters of the Universe, such as "The Sword of Gray-cranium"?
Anyone else experiencing a bug where your energy won't increase above level 50? I've bought the limit increases up to lvl 80 and have increased running, climbing, swimming and flying to level 80 fine. It's just that my energy level won't increase above 50 for some reason.
