I'm getting an issue where I frequently lose camera control. Zoom and rotating the camera with the mouse simply doesn't respond. Occasionally it'll fix itself, but I don't know what causes that to happen either. Any ideas? I played it for quite some day a couple days ago and didn't have the problem.
I don't suppose there's a way to introduce an auto-fire feature where you can hold down the key for continuous fire? Mashing the keys left my hand and wrist cramping up so bad that I couldn't move my fingers fast enough to take out the balls of color.
The Walther P38 is pretty glitchy. You can remove the hammer strut as early as taking off the grips and the magazine latch, but if you do, it'll reappear when you remove the slide and barrel, but you won't be able to take it off. Also, the small springs on the side after you remove the slide, when you're re-assembling the gun, you're supposed to put the springs on the little pin first, but you can click the pin and it'll instantly have the spring on it and go back into place, but the game will think you haven't put the spring on, and anything that requires it can't be put back on, including the grip and the slide itself. This makes the game unwinnable.
I can understand wanting to make some money from something that obviously took a lot of work, but, 5 dollars to purchase one or two models in game is pretty expensive. 50,000 exp for 5 dollars would be more reasonable. And why get rid of the quiz? If you're worried it's giving too much EXP, just dial it back to giving 200 or 100 EXP per correct answer instead of getting rid of it entirely.
Alright, I was lame and tried to invite people to get the special mission bonus. I invited 5 people and didn't get it. Then I specifically invited 5 friends, and still didn't get it. Anyone else having this? Do they actually have to come and play the game for it to count?
One issue I'm having is the assembly/disassembly is often arbitrarily specific. I understand taking out the magazine to emphasize safety, but after that, often times it's clear that parts could come out or off, but you're not allowed to because the game requires a specific sequence. The other problem is the game forcing you to click a specific part of a piece. Two pieces will be assembled together, but clicking one piece will assemble it, but clicking the other is invalid. I know I failed sniper achievements because on some pistols, you take apart the trigger assembly, but if you click on the trigger itself, it doesn't count. You have to click on the bar connected to the trigger. Others are things like taking springs off and having to click on the end of a rod to take the spring off, not the spring itself. It can make it a guessing game. You know which parts are supposed to go together, you just don't know which area the game wants you to click to do it.
I don't understand how these times are possible. The level three times seem like they need to be an instantaneous succession of movements, and even then it's hard to understand. But worse, there are high scores that are much faster. How's that possible? Just the amount of time it takes for the animations to complete should mean those times can't be done.
Is there an option to speed up/skip animations? That's not something I have to pay or register for is there? Or are some people hacking their times?
Am I the only one that would buy speed whenever possible so as to turn my character into an unholy murder bullet? Then I learned, there's no limit. You can keep buying as much speed as you like. Forever. Then I could think only one thing.
"Gotta go fast."
Sorry for double post, but, confirming that it happened again. Tried to combine 2 level 5 Wolf runes and they're just gone. I can't find them anywhere. They disappear as soon as I put them into the refining slot.
So, just a warning: DO NOT TRY TO COMBINE LEVEL 5 RUNES. THEY WILL BE LOST.
I tried to combine 2 level 5 fire runes and they disappeared. Is this a bug or did they go somewhere? Is level 5 the maximum and I just wasn't supposed to do that?
Possible bug. On the Dwarven level, I died during the boss fight and was revived by a glyph, but on that turn the threat was at 100, so I revived and immediately fought the ancient evil. I defeated it, and now I boss symbol is gone even though I lost that fight. Perhaps the game thinks that I "won" the boss fight because I revived directly into another fight that I won? I don't know if I got the benefits from being the boss though, as I never encountered any other dwarves.
Score 9,000,000 points and my rank is master smuggler. Check the hard badge and it requires not 8,000,000 but 80,000,000 points. Is that even possible? Do you need enough luck/trickery to get into some kind of math loop, such that, without it, high scores are around 10,000,000 and with it, they're around 80,000,000,000? You know the kind of trick some games have, right? Not hacking. Just, I don't see how it's possible.
I'm not sure PC performance is a good explanation for this. I play a lot of other games on the site and they either run fine, or can run somewhat slowly but still significantly better than this. The game doesn't just go slow, it flat out hangs up occasionally, and gave me a game-breaking graphical bug the first time I played it. On the second level. If my PC were at fault, why aren't all the other high performance games doing the same thing? Why aren't all the conventional PC games I play like Skyrim and Dead Island doing the same thing with medium-to-high settings. I can't find my PC at fault here; there's definitely something wrong with the code.
Does the game run poorly for anyone else? It stutters and sticks for me occasionally and every time I launch a rocket. Also, just as a side-note, it's annoying waiting for that whole graphic display to come up each time at the mission screen. I just want to read the help section or check my achievements and get back to playing. It's just a second or two, but it still bugs me somehow.
Does anyone else have trouble with handle building? For some reason, a lot of times when I let go of the mouse button, the item I'm dropping shifts a pixel or two to the left, and falls off-center. It's rather frustrating. I'm fairly confident it's not me doing it.
I seem to have a bug where, at the upgrade screen, I have one upgrade point, but after selecting an upgrade, no button comes up to choose it. Since I have to choose an upgrade, I can't progress in the game. I hope I'm not missing something obvious.
The ability to scroll screens could be made more obvious. I'm at a 7 star rating and I JUST learned that there are more boots for purchase than what you see at first. I've been playing this whole time thinking NS-50s were the high grade stuff.
:D
