SOPA is a horrible idea, but it isn't going to make anything like this game happen. Rather, if someone posts a copyright-infringing game on kong, and Kong doesn't block it (like if they don't notice), Kong could be completely taken down until with no notice.
Just for reference, you base cannot send more then 32 packets worth of energy at a time. If you are producing more and trying to use more, you'll have surplus AND deficit.
Elevator solution: DO NOT have elevators that extend the entire height of your tower. Each elevator shaft should be 8-10 floors high. My setup is to have 8-height shafts. I use the 4 floors in the center of the shaft for hotel rooms. The 2 floors at the top of each shaft and the two floors at the bottom get restaurants/entertainment/etc, and overlap with a different shaft. For example, floors 7&8 have the top of one shaft and the bottom of another. Also, you'll want to add a service elevator to extend the height of the tower so your maids don't spend all their time switching elevators (your customers don't care about switching elevators, just about waiting).
Way too tough to deal with the later levels. Enemies come too thick before you can build up any defenses, and you need to be able to upgrade cannon strength instead of just building more farther and farther out.
Improvements: 1) We NEED a way to compare units, such as stats for range & strength, plus extra strengths/weaknesses (like STRONG vs Werewolf), and need to be able to look these up at any time (in tooltips, or access through the pause menu). 2) The red progress meters on buildings should not remain full just because one unit is available, I see the number saying how many I have, I want to see progress towards the next unit. 3) Needs some sort of payback (extra sould points?) for RETREATing a unit. If I want to replace one, I usually wait til they die.
