Random events need more variety, and should be throttled down in the first few turns (I started with an extra ship which was a frigate, then a pirate attack after my first turn destroyed it, but left my sloop). Critical hits need to be less overpowered. Frigates, galleons, and fortresses with full health shouldn't be destroyed with a single hit, critical or not. Peace treaties should include a mandatory cease fire for a certain number of turns, because it really doesn't seem like whether you are at peace or at war has any effect on whether another nation attacks you.
The developer says he can't do anything about the lost savegames, but many other games on this site are able to release updates without losing local savefiles, so there IS clearly a solution. Maybe he should contact Kongregate to see if they have any information?
If you buy 2 tables for the same spot, you can switch between them for free, which might complete table-related quests. I know I switched a pendulum to a cactus and back to complete a quest I had already done before it popped up.
Message says "Platform eyeOS could not compete and went out of the market. According to users' opinion, hot platform and category pair is eyeOS - gambling". Apparently I've got some dumb users.
I am confused why the enemy drops weapons and armor in groups of 5, 10 and more. It doesn't seem like I can equip my army. Is there anything to do with this but sell it?
i wish the tips could be turned off. i don't need to be told that i can spend crystals every time i click "your stuff", and i don't need to be reminded to upgrade my racer
Hey there! The tip should go away as soon as you buy your first item, get your first upgrade, etc. Let me know if that isn't working, and I'll take a look! [-fex]
We actually talked about that, but figured it'd mostly just make it annoying and horribly difficult. The game was designed to be a pretty small project, so anything like that got shelved.
Maybe if we do a sequel... :P
Not enough of a concept to have any idea where you are going with this. Also, the game is too big for my browser window unless it is maximized. I have 1600x900 resolution (higher than average) with Chrome (no toolbars).
The game performs well, but I am ten levels in and still have no idea what I'm actually supposed to do. On any given level, once I figure out what the goal is, there is absolutely no difficulty in achieving that goal. 2/5
