Great Job on the updates. If you are interested in some smaller todo/bug fixes/tweaks here are a few. 1) When in pilot mode with the overlay on (that displays the hud symbols for objects) ship symbols are flickering in random spots across the screen. 2) If you have the target set, an indicator arrow to where they are off screen would be great, this would help more in pilot view but would be useful in normal 3d view. 3) A 3rd person type view of the ship would be great as well, behind and elevated about the ship. Maybe you can implement zoom in and out to and from pilot mode to get to here, i.e. you zoom out and slowly get further away from ship. Another thing that would be cool but would not be trivial to code, items in space shouldn't slow down when you stop accelerating, bar other factors such as gravity. I know this one is not trivial (e.g. stopping a ship would require reverse thrust).

The deluxe version allow harder games (with a team of ennemy AI against you). You may try, there is a free demo ^^.

Okay, a little feedback. * Setting troops to defend should still make them use up AP, that way if you choose to defend with nearly no AP you will only get one or two shots/melee off in a turn. * Melee enemies need to be more dangerous, this remake is missing the terror that came with watching your marines get ripped to shreds in a hit or two. * Defending could target in one direction (even up to 180), so you can't cover everywhere with one guy in the middle of a room. I realise that this will require an extra mechanism to set the facing direction of your marine. * If you go to the trouble of implementing facing, attacking or getting attacked from behind should be very deadly. * A skip or speed up enemy turn would be great. Thank-you for the wonderful nostalgia, as well as the best 3d I have seen in a flash game.

Anyone else had any success using non cleric builds? First 15 levels were hell (had to restart a couple of times and avoid most enemies), but once I got quickness for each person above 80, can wipe out most parties before they attack using area of effect spells. And you can use stun causing skills on the key enemies if you think you cannot wipe out in one go. Current party 2 x ranger, 1 x rogue, 1 x mage. Try it, it makes the game play much more differently.

For those that cannot work out the alternating valve, what it does change to the other set of pipes once pressure reaches a certain point. Remember that if you set the alternating valve value to switch at a high pressure, it won't reach that high pressure if there is something draining the pressure on the other side. Use a pressure valve in conjunction with the alternating valve if you run into this, so that you can build up enough pressure to flick to your other pipe circuit.

Needs a one way valve, that would make a lot more cool designs viable. Also make the valve opening pressures adjustable (like a slider) so that we can account for the loss of pressure over distance of pipe.

My own survival guide: Get Skelton and Reaper and use them on top floor, recast if they die. Use Polymorph on the those big guys that can kill reaper. Spam confusion to slow everyone down and have them chase and kill eachother. Earthquake when floor damage is above 25%. Use soul jar for mana, aim to hit big bunches of those workers while they are on lvl 1 so it will kill them. Needs high score system for survival, paused at 21:40m Floor 4 21%.

I agree about the premium content business, but judging from the game you get, definitely 4/5 (which is usually my highest rating for TD games). Is Kongregate moving towards shareware?
