Well actually, I've played your games a lot longer, its just that I've binged on some games I've already played (and ones I hadn't) in the past year. But whatever, I think you know what I mean. ^^
I've been playing your games for two days straight and I just finished the Vortex Point series (well, where you made your last game). PLEASE NEVER, EVER STOP MAKING YOUR GAMES I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM AND I DON'T KNOW ANY BETTER HEAVEN THAN ALL OF THESE POINT AND CLICKS.
Tom's Cruise ->Tom Cruise + Person close to him disappears on a ship underneath mysterious, suspicious circumstances= Scientology referance!!! ... Or maybe I should
@Chrisphoda, dear god no. I'm a feminist and I understand the seriousness of stuff like that, but could you not whine here? This game maker has stuff like that happen a LOT in his games and plenty of male character also get hurt too.
"My favorite peanut butter cereal! But, I'm not hungry".
I love this consistent Captain Crunch gag, it's like you can tell it's the game creator's calling card.XD
*Grabs toothbrush.*
*Walks out of bathroom.*
*Loud, scary booing and apicture my my ashamed face.*
Is that my toothbrush in your hand?
I don't think i've ever rememebred a click and point game that made me feel ashamed this bad for picking up stuff that isn't mine. :O
"I am not that desperate to look for stuff in garbage cans. Think harder."
*Clicks on manhole cover.*
"There must be something good down there! A ring, a coin, a voodoo doll, who knows?"
Usually I'm not very good at these types of "don't hit the walls" games or levels at all. But I actually got through the whole game in one sitting in a nice amount of time, and the best part is that I felt challenged yet, I didn't feel like I spent so much time for so little at the end.:D
It's too bad it's not classified as a "5-minute" game because I'm always looking for stuff like this.
And I adored the plot. 10/10 will play more games from this developer.
This is a really, really good game, and I must say I'm a HUGE fan of Wasted Youth (and have been really taking my sweet time with everything in Part 1), but if there's just one thing I might say negatively about this game, it's the significant mouse lag that occurs right in the middle of a wave. It may be from my end, but I believed that I had updated Firefox. Anyway, that's my two cents, but this is a really good game, and I especially love the cut scenes!
Who else wanted to cry as soon as they saw and heard the dying crow? I tried using the cleaning cloth to bundle the poor thing up in, and hoped I could heal it. But then I realized what the game wanted me to do... The poor little thing! So brutal and coldhearted. I would've made a friend of the sweet crow.
But all in all, while I thunk it was an awesome game, amazed and feel so sorry that some people are having a hard time with it. I think the literal "call in the favor" thing needs to be pointed out to some or changed, since I went in and won with the badge of the day without even reading the instructions or playing any other games in the series, but so many people are stuck scratching their heads. 5 stars in my humble opinion, though.
I loved this game for the storyline and the fact that there was a hint button that led to both a plain text walkthrough as well as a video (only needed the text walkthrough to get it). Very good storyline, albeit it would be nice if the game had a dynamic that allowed us to have options depending on desicions like sparing a life, etc. It would've been nice seeing if I could accomplish everything and have a different ending depending on whether I've been able to avoid unnessacary deaths or whatever (the bunnies, the poor snail, the mayor, the general at the end who seemed like a guy who was in favor of fair treatment for the toy soldiers against their Jabba-the-hut-esque leader).
I loved this so much! I give it 10 out of 10! But I must say I'm a bit confused by the plot- When I saw the title and started the game, it felt like the title was so ill-fitting. But now I have so many questions about the story. But I guess asking about it would mean sharing spoilers, so I'll just wait for the next installment.:D
Thanks! :D
