As a Psychology Major in college when I originally played this, I loved the frick out of this game! I still do tbh, I wonder what the creator did after this? Do they do steam releases of any of the games from this series?
I surprisingly really enjoy this game, but there are significant game-ending scenarios that I feel need to be addressed-
In the first world, if you forget to pause the game and harvest all the stones and forget what you're doing and you absentmindedly try to build more buildings but haven't done the stone-transporter... Yeah, you're refreshing the page. Also, I started the second world and I can't build a machine partys factory due to not being able to generate any knowledge
Vasant, please be safe and okay! We love your games and sense of humor and writing, too and I think it was so cute and splendid of you to add that extended ending!
I unironically love that this game was badged, and that the badge is from the game! Or was the game using a premade badge? Either way, this was a really cute and fun day and badge! I'm glad to see that Kong appreciates games like these made for fun, it was pretty funny and cute!
27%? Im so excited to explore more! This was a beautiful game, its like a love letter to people who people who love exploring every nook and cranny of interaction in a game. I'm one of those people, and Im genuinely amazed there's more, plus a special game! The setting and gameplay and asethetic is rich as well, really dig the flash adventure vibes, but how it's been mixed with 2000's era surfer/skater culture and the Steven Universe-esque boardwalk town theme. And released in 2018 too! I've always been afraid of this type of game no longer being made, but this made me so happy to find and play, even though its 5 AM. Well-deserved Badge of the Day!
Honestly, seeing Dregg as a young adult here, he's even more attractive in this installment because he seems somewhat witty in a lighthearted way and is more uplifted than in previous games. I feel like he's somewhat feeling much better than either in childhood or adulthood so he probably scowled a lot less since he's at a time of his life where he was still young and also just starting to take direction and cement the beginning stages of his formal career in becoming a Rightian cop. But then again, I'm writing this before I've even started the mock murder scene investigation that his teacher is tasking him to do on his own.
Can I just say that I friggin' love these filler games. The overarching mainplot of Medieval Cop/Angel is fantastic, but this series wouldn't be as good as it were without these fantastic in between episodes, and I wouldn't mind waiting for as looong as it takes for the next plot game to show up as long as we get plenty of these in between! They're a delight! Happy New Year Vasant!
I loved this! Personally, I'm biased a lot towards the Medieval Cop/Angel/Chronicles series, but this was stunning! Especially the ending- Wow I can't believe we get to see the canon future of the same universe that Medieval Cop takes place in! I wasn't a fan of the inability to simply click to where I wanted to go, but the dialogue was great, the character dynamics were good, the humor, and the artstyle was interesting, albeit I'm still a sucker for everything Medieval Cop.
You're a wonderful person. I wish you a great weekend!
