I can't seem to be able to complete the level 12 challenge. At one point, the armored guys (3 from each side) seem invulnerable. With 2 dark mages and 6 crossbows plus 3 soldiers (plus the 3 already on the field) don't even dent a single scratch on them. I just cannot finish this challenge for the life of me. Either I'm missing something or this must be a bug. Awesome game. I loved your previous one as well.
The offline bonus income doesn't work as of the last update. +1350% income, and yet it's the same as without it. Currently on level 13/2, if that matters.
Bougeotte, suppress is the only mechanic that does not change the "visible stats" on a unit (the ones you get by clicking on it). The devs will probably get around to fixing it soon. But the suppress *does* lower attack rating. Except when it's blocked by camo. Also, be wary of additional rallys or berserk effects. If you lower it by 2 and then it gets rallyed by 2, it's the same attack as it originally had.
Please do something about actions within the squad. I have a 3 day upgrade on a unit, and in the meantime, I can't remove equipment from any units until that upgrade finishes. What if I want to change tactics within my squad in those 3 days ? perhaps to finish that last very difficult mission in an event that lasts for 2 days ?
It's probably been said before, but here I go: 1) Please let me know if I've completed a level on normal/hard/nightmare. Either with extra graphics on each level icon, and/or with info on the level select window. And 2) Give some rewards for the extra difficulties. 3) Make an "endless" level, or something to do when we finish the campaign. Mini-games, "Alien invasion". Whatever :) Awesome developer and awesome game.
1. Will be in the next update. 2. Designing it. It's hard enough to design some sort of cool reward without global rebalance. 3. Thinking about it. Maybe it will be the reward for playing at a higher levels ))
More suggestions: 1) I equip an equipment to a unit that is not in any of my squads. When I want to remove it, it says "The squad bay is currently in use". 2) Units should have some kind of icon, letting us know that an equipment/mod is applied to it. I probably have a lot of mods spread around all kinds of units, and I have to go manually through each of them to figure out what mods and where they are.
In all honesty, after testing the game for several days, at level 20, having units from level 1 to level 5, I think simultaneus upgrades should be allowed on all units. I have been waiting for an upgrade on a level 5 unit, for 2 days now. Can't do anything else (fuse other units to advance my army) since I need more upgrading.
I learned this the hard way, so I thought I should share:
1) "You cannot equip 3 star equipment to a 2 star unit" - Better craft those right components, or else you'll be left with equipment you can't use.
2) "This unit does not have Strike and cannot equip this item" - Craft and use only equipment that empowers skills already present on your units.
As a testament to the game itself, I already paid for the starter package (60 kreds), even if this is a beta. I really, REALLY enjoy the game, aside from all this damn waiting. Since your 3 developers put the game here to be tried by Plus members, at least get involved. Learn from other developers. They are very active within this stage of publishing, and try to fix/modify the core game so when it is launched publicly, you have a close to finished product, based on already received feedback.
Never, never again should I upload new versions after 20 hours work day :( It was bug, and now it's fixed. Sorry.
