This game works great as a semi-idle game. You can start a match and then keep on with your work or browsing/etc and then return when it's time to do something
Anyone notice the game occasionally will assign a draw or loss that didn't actually happen? I was 9-0-0 with Newcastle and suddenly was 10-1-0 after beating arsenal. Second time that has happened. =/
Easy way to get Hard Badge:
1a) Get good Tee Power
1b) Save up at least $1500
2) Stock up on Airboost, Power Swing, and Super Stop for every round. You will use the first two on your drive, activating Airboost as your drive begins to dip to the ground, and use Super Stop to get the ball to drop into the cup on an iron shot (or drive on par 3s). If you do it right there should be little to no putting on any holes.
3) You should be getting a hole-in-one on all Par 3s, and two or three hitting every other hole. There are some Par 4s that you can easily get a hole-in-one on if you do it right. (Pirate Island for example)
5) If at any time during a course you screw a hole up, exit the course. Then click "Start Round" and then "Continue Round". This will allow you to re-try the hole until you get it right. Make sure to re-buy your power-ups!
6) Wash, rinse, repeat! You have about 38.9 seconds per hole on Stony and 61.1 on Sunny.
Best and easiest way to get the Hard badge is to quit a hole if it doesn't go well and then continue your round. This way you can ensure the best possible score and essentially play on a 'hole-by-hole' basis. Just make sure you have enough money saved up because you may burn through it on power-ups. I recommend Power swing/air-boost/super stop.
Please read forum post on update build notes to see how the new system works. The time is variable. I played many matches last night and several times had no wait time. The respawn system was changed to help balance teams.
It would be cool to have a naval landing card so you could threaten coastlines. It would need to give some sort of general warning to the target a turn ahead of time so it wouldn't be too powerful. But it would be fun. =)
I like the game. Got a bug report for you however: Around wave 12 I think (it was right after the really big zombies show up) the game sort of froze up on me, leaving all the zombies currently on screen stuck as non functioning bitmaps. The wave timer continued to run and more zombies would appear, several of which I could kill, and several of which joined the rest of the zombies as frozen bitmaps. Not sure what caused this.
Very easy, but a cool concept. As others have noted, the AI doesn't seem to pay any attention to threats to its flag. Not sure how difficult that would be to fix, but the game can't possible be challenging without that.
Thanks, glad you like it!
