I unlocked normal mode by playing enough levels... but I just found this short cut to skipping much of the easy levels. The fastest way is
1. solve 2 page 13th puzzle - church -> you'll get architect badge -> buy & wear (if you don't have enough money -> you can click the face book & blog for 10000G)
2. wear that badge and solve the last easy level puzzle. you can get normal key. This should unlock normal mode (where you get more XP and so the hard badge is less grindy. -Pip
While a nice puzzle, I much prefer the Picma games (same idea, but much better interface). Puzzle games should have their difficulty be a function of logic/strategy/thinking/etc not in muddling through cumbersome controls.
Ok - so this just got annoying. I arrived at the boss with almost full stamina (just a small bit gone). I was also nuclear (so immune to damage). I only got hit two times by meteors from the ship but still ran out of time before enough red snake things spawned to kill off the ship. That should not have happened.
So, am I missing something? To get the EASY badge do you really have to unlock the 4th iteration of a level and beat it? That seems way too time consuming for an easy badge.
A good game. A bit short (wished it was longer because it was so good). Most of the puzzles were a bit easy except the Ratman (spoiler) and once you have what you need that is easy too. All in all, a good game.
"Have you ever gone back in time, convinced your past self to drug your high school crush...".... I loved Thousand Dollar Soul. K+ just got worth it for this game alone.
Good game, but as others have said, too easy. Maybe a solution would be to have 3 levels. Easy (which is how the game is currently), medium with snapping in place turned off, and hard which removes both the snapping in place and the outline. I have to say though... well done from a programming perspective. Very slick and computer resource efficient.
Good game. Would be more challenging if you didn't limit squares to be "parallel" with the game screen (ie allow them to be oriented at any angle, similar to how a circle can be).
Good game. I agree that a "level creator" / player levels / level pack would be a good add. I actually found the hardest level to be 10. But still an enjoyable game.
