Nice 2d conversion, very enjoyable. Some collision mechanics was a bit buggy though and gave me a little trouble. Especially at lvl 39, several times i managed to jump though walls and end up at the entrance. Once i even died. Oh, and there was actually a cake here, excellent.
Fun for a while, but as people already pointed out its too luck dependent. Sometimes you just cant combo any further just because there is no targets on the screen. This becomes very annoying in the adventure mode when you need to jump over holes.
Nice approach to the old Tanks genre. 30 levels is probably too much as the player does not encounter new content very often, and after every new thing introduced there is like 5-6 levels of repetition. Balancewise its good, maybe a slight reduction in cooldown on the meteor style arrows, they don't feel effective enough to warrant such a big drawback. Also, I understand why you have the auto-aim feature, but my vote is to remove it anyway as it kills one of the core mechanics of the game. Feels a little bit like if i would turn on some auto-pilot in a racing game and just tell it to drive to the goal.
Looking forward to Bowmaster 2!!
Really cool platform game, i love the use of momentum and ramps, very sonic-like but in a much more enjoyable pace. Could probably use a little more types of enemies, spiders are nice and all but not very..fancy?
Animations are very smooth and enjoyable with lots of extra stuff that improves the play experience, such as the headbanging and the "James Bond stance". Music is decent, doesnt make me hum along but doesnt make me turn it off either. Controls, the perhaps most important thing in a platform game, are among the best ive encountered in a flash game.
One thing that was a bit bad in my eyes was the impact of the trophy rooms. The visuals in there made the ordinary levels look very blend and downright boring in comparison. I would also like the arrow that points toward the shell to be more visible. Its very small and dark, making it hard to see against certain textures.
Nice game, nothing very original or special about it though. Also it has huge balance issues, after a while your army grows indestructible and you dont even bother fighting enemies yourself anymore. Put a little cooldown timer on scroll/potions, they really trivialize the fights right now. Maybe reduce or even remove the effect of Art of war, its just too good when you consider it stacking with patriotism and intelligence aswell. And one thing definetly needs to be added, a "Sell All"-button.

Brilliant idea to showcase your art, this way people are sure to notice details. Perhaps add a "showcase" mode where the player can go to any completed part? Loved the picture of the girl with the umbrella, the contrast was beautiful.
Not sure how to rate this, as the game itself is not very special, it is just carried by the artwork. 2/5 for core gameplay, 5/5 for visual style, but i'll round it up to a 4.
Im sorry to say that the glitches really ruin this game. Maybe you should've spent more time on fixing those than on the fancy menus. The most annoying bug i've found is that sometime when you retry you can move your character, but is unable to shoot/reload/change weapon. The only thing that helps then is to start over from scratch :(. Also the random survivor deaths during search is slightly frustrating as the game requires you to search to make progress. Perhaps make survivors harder to find and then remove then random deaths. Instead maybe make it so they can die during the assault phase?

Very nice rogue-ish game. Perhaps only award new skills every 5-10 levels or so, the way it is now you can just as well give all the skills from the beginning as the player gets them so quickly anyway. Bigger text and graphics on the items would also be nice, kinda hard on the eyes atm. Other than that and some balance issues it was great, 4/5.
Very cool and relaxing the first 10-12 levels, then it gets a little stale. The game could use another difficulty modifier instead of just adding more and more balls. You could probably lower the lives and balls allowed, and perhaps one tha later levels increase the % needed for completionMusic selection was nice, goes perfect with this type of game. Graphics serves its purpose, not good, not bad. Wouldnt mind some color though, as white/grey gets boring fast.3.5/5
