To anyone having trouble finding the daimyo: You have to step on him to find him. Just being next to him is not enough. Also, if the footprints end(they point to a space without footprints), the daimyo is in the next space, blank or not.
If you click to aim the spear, then hold while scrolling the screen, the spear flies from just outside the screen, even if you're all the way at the opponent's base. You can then aim as many as you want, and they will all appear from just outside of the screen.
Bug: lightning spears stick in the ground when you buy one pierce and one bounce, and again when you get up to two of each. I haven't tried it with any other weapon, though it might also work with them. Also, they stick to the screen, so if you move to the enemy's side, units die as they walk into the spears in the ground.
Don't hate me if you're stuck on a puzzle, but these are extremely easy, at least compared to actual sudoku puzzles. Only knowing how to solve the regular sudokus coming in, I was able to beat the last level in around 4 minutes having only solved 2 other puzzles(1 from each level) Will there be another volume, with harder puzzles?
We understand what you're saying, Thomas, though not everyone is like that. If this goes well there will be a much harder 'volume 2' as we did with Mix Sudoku and Hashi.
The lag on the needle slows it down a little, but makes it too unpredictable. Sometimes, it feels like I'm just rolling a die instead of actually trying to hit the mark, it's so random.
For Europe, you want to build a huge army, then send it against the huge army that always builds up in the north. At a certain point, he just keeps adding all his reinforcements to that army without attacking, which is when you want to go and kill Russia to cut off those reinforcements. Eventually, you get an army so much bigger than his that he starts fleeing back to Russia, which is when you airlift that army right in front of him, killing the giant army of doom in one shot. Afterwards, it's just mop up, because you have so many more troops.
For the challenge maps, you have to play like you're out for blood, not to protect. Yes, keep your 5 reinforcement country, by all means. But, assemble everyone else you don't need into one giant snowball army and aim it at the heart of your enemy's regions, then laugh as you crush all in your way. You have cards, your enemy AI doesn't, so your goal is to remove his reinforcements, even if it means removing yours.
a problem i faced in long games was my mouse slowly shifting towards the back of the desk, almost until i was leaning over to use it. maybe some sort of average or something, to make sure our mice stay within reach?
