I wish this game were stable enough for me to get the hard badge. IE, Chrome, or Safari on this PC...does not matter which...game crashes by the time I get to the later stages. I try to play it at work (IE7 for company reasons) and it still crashes. Disappointing because its a great game.
I hate games that require me to use the keyboard and the mouse, but at least enough touchpad fails will eventually get you through this since you get to keep the upgrades. OP ELVES FTW!
This was very easy, but as you pointed out to someone else, I too have played a few games. Some games I don't recognize, and I would appreciate seeing their name. Perhaps replace the Complete! message with the name of the game or display the name of the game with the message? I do notice that every puzzle includes a link to this game on another site (I never click those in any game). Maybe those games are super popular at the other site, but at Kong they are not the most popular in their categories. If I were going to make a game like this I would base the questions on the most popular games (4+ stars) then increase the difficulty by asking more obscure questions about those games. And as others have mentioned, many questions are easy to deduce based on art styles. Any chance you could ramp up the difficulty by creating a false answer with the same palette and style? Mostly this just felt very repetitious, but I do really enjoy the game.
Thank you! Yes, I'm goinf to mix 2 approaches in the next version: I'll make the screensho-oriented questions only for the beginner levels, and the there will be the quiz questions as in my DYKFG
Don't upgrade your top speed until the very end, instead max your magnet and repulsion field asap. Go nice and slow with a huge magnet to suck up all the coins while the repulsion field pushes everything out of the way. Once you can reach Earth upgrade anti-gravity so you can gently float down and suck up all the coins on the map. You can earn 5k coins pretty easily this way. If you upgrade your top speed the repulsion field will no longer keep you safe from objects and even with everything maxed you can die pretty quickly.
You guys commenting about the 10 foot tall hedgehog and 350 foot corn need to remember that things are being measured in hedgehog feet, not human feet. :)
@Abra24 - Might I suggest a Miracle Max pill for sale in the store? Something that cuts your time spent as a ghost time by 50%? You could also add a "Rushed" Miracle Max pill that cut your ghost time by 50% but also halved your main stat by 50% for a period of time.
Is Flipline responsible for the lame Twix advertisements too? "Right twix drizzles the chocolate on while the left twix pouurs the chocolate on...completely different process."
You can rate me and others down all you want, but the sheer fact that so many are reporting issues with the controls should give anyone with a modicum of intelligence a clue that there is an issue with the controls.
Developer's thought bubble: 'Hmmm... I'll get sued by Rovio for trademark infringment if I use birds in my Angry Birds clone so I better use a different character. I know! I'll use Mario instead!'
Fun but would benefit from some objectives and arrow key movement. I hate wasd. For version 2 adding things like a repulsion field for the guards like ace_blue suggested would be great. Some power ups would be cool...maybe a stun and a repulsion burst for yourself as well. With just a few tweaks and additions this would be a badge-worthy game.
Ah, sorry, I did forget to add arrow key controls, it'll definitely be in the next version. I will definitely consider the repulsion field, but I do need to fix a few other issues first. Power ups would definitely be a cool idea, I will have a look at adding them soon. Glad to hear that you enjoyed the game!
Aside from the poor taste in subject matter, the game is polished and complete. Do we ever get to buy uranium centrifuges from snails dressed as mimes to make peace-loving nukes to use on the godless neighbors that educate their daughters and hold accursed democratic elections?
Progress bars to show the number of mistakes and successes?? No, use numbers. Or at least place numbers in the progress bars. Also, please clean up the Description. This is a puzzle game where I'm supposed to find the differences between two pictures. Its great you use soldiers, but irrelevant to the game. I thought I was going to be playing a fighting game of some kind. The misleading name and description will kill your rating. Using the same pictures in the same order is handy since spotting the differences is incredibly difficult. In fact, I still can see one of the differences in the first photo but ~20 games of random clicking has taught me where it is.
Wow...clickfest is right. I lost the first level on the first play of the game because I was busy reading the instructions and didn't realize the game had started. I'm still not sure I know what I'm supposed to be doing besides clicking like mad. At least clicking on the stones made the green bars move so I must have been doing something. It took a while to figure out that the Buy button was to buy the Power thingies (but there's no indication of what the power thingies do so...). I figured the buy button was to buy a premium version of the game since this is a demo. Some recommendations: 1) WAY MORE documentation! 2) a button to start the waves. 3) The exits look exactly like the entrances...confusing. 4) Rename this to Hand of God Beta. Make it a Demo after its finished.
