Being told that the plane does not repair between missions would be handy. Knowing that Repair only repairs 200hp would be nice. Replaying levels for extra cash would be a good option. Tool tips in general would be awesome. All in all, its a decent game that suffers from a severe lack of documentation. Tips for players: You must reclick the mouse after reloading or your gun won't start firing again. Air support can be used over and over again (it has a cool down though) so use it often. Waves are really short and your ammo belt is even shorter.
Good game. Some pointers: Speed upgrade seems more like a penalty since you miss more coins and thereby lose out on combos. All the speed upgrade does is increases the scroll speed of the terrain which negates the maneuverability upgrades. Also, more coins on the screen should make it easier to get combos, not harder. Missing coins because there are just too damn many coins shouldn't necessarily break your combo streak. As is, I think the game is already worthy of badges, but with a few minor tweaks it can be an very entertaining game.
How is this a game? 1 star. I'd give it 2 stars if you at least made it a tutoria/recipe, but for that you would need to add amounts and temps and such. It sounds good...I'd love to know how to make it. If you do add the amounts and temps needed to make this, don't forget to display both the metric and imperial measures.
Seriously? An iframe with another site where the game is actually embedded? 1 star and done. If the game's author should put this game on Kong, I'll rate it then. Until then having someone scrape another site is dumb. Game flagged.
Confused? My arrow keys did not move me...not sure what was going on there. I had no idea how to change weapons. I don't know if I'm supposed to kill a certainb number of fish or reach a certain depth to finish the level. Level selection seemed to do nothing. I did not realize walls hurt you, and bouncing back and forth between two walls of a narrow passage is a quick and annoying way to die. Might I suggest a tutorial and/or more of an explaination?
@violatergames - So Malit'z, Lord of Deception is unarmored? Stunned him with Alyss, then hit him with Brendan's Lightning Bolt for 40 points of damage. His turn came and went (he was stunned), and when I got to Brendan again I used Conductive Shock...which only did 38 points of damage. He could not have gotten any buffs because he was stunned. I don't know the actual mechanics so I can't say it really isn''t working right, but I can say that my perception is that most skills are fairly pointless.
Why don't the magical attacks I get after gaining a few levels work any better than my basic standard attack? One would think that a 6th level skill like Penetrating Strike (which supposedly ignores armor) would deal more damage than a basic hit.
Good game! :) Needs a speed up button badly though! Noticed one unti got stuck hacking on corpses and became useless for the rest of the battle. Also noticed that Auto button does not place all your units when replaying earlier battles.
The instructions need to explain that you start from scratch every run. IE, you do not get too keep upgrades even though the Acheivements screen suggests you have upgraded your armor and weapon (even saying "Hover to see Equip"). Maybe English is a 2nd language, but that really says to me that I have upgraded my stuff. The instructions should also say that leveling does absolutely nothing except increase your score...which is also meaningless. Another addition should be that you can only carry one item at a time. I tried to stock up on elixers until I managed to read the text (which flashes by too quickly) which said replace elixer with elixer. This is a great concept, but get rid of the things that imply a "campaign" (things that would carry from run to run) or actually incorporate them into the game. A much broader game could be made by keeping upgrades from run to run and adding a boss on each run that must be killed before advancing to the next step in the campaign.
It will to ARMORED enemies...
