After 2 minutes of try to learn a convoluted and inexplicably complex interface, I gave up and clicked Join. After 5 minutes of running around shooting and trying figure out how I died, I learned that there are 2 power ups: Grenades and Health. I gave up trying to get them because they're useless. After 10 more minutes of trying to learn the point of this game, I came to realize there isn't one. After 15 more minutes of trying to kill the other people in the room and failing miserably I got the sense that this game was a huge smoking pile of $h17. Kong couldn't have made such a pile of garbage part of quest badge I said to myself, so I persevered. Now after an hour wasted trying to get a mere 15 kills, I must tell myself that I just won't get the Quest badge. This is a game where they decided to make it an MMO, offer digital goods for real money, and only then out did they start thinking about game play. But by then the dev budget was exhausted. Oh well, ship it.
Game hung on loading. Refreshed and it loaded. Selected the first save slot and clicked start...and the game hung again. Refershed. Same result. Connection is through a cable modem, and I have no problems playing other Kong games.
And of course I figure it out a minute after making a comment... *forehead slap* For those who may be as oblivious to the obvious as I am, the idol to Solak behind the switchable door is not just scenery. It is the level boss. eXamine it to get the fight to get the key. Makes me think that I should start examining plants and columns and things. :/
I feel like such a noob. I just started playing. I'm in a lower level (3rd?) of the Sun Temple, and I've come to a door that is "locked tight but there's a keyhole". I've wandered the Temple high and low, opened every treasure chest on the map, kill numerous monsters, and still haven't found a key. What am I doing wrong?
Purple coins are gaied from Coilfang Dungeon. Gold does not flip to purple at some point. Purple coins are used to buy heroic stuff from the shop once you hit level 80.
@Abra: Bugs in 1.3. Shields no longer add hp. Switching to my heroic axe negates the strength bonus from my armor...drops from 2427 with my heroic sword and heroic armor to 1461 with my heroic axe.
@abra24 BUG: When you're in the shop, click on your bank, then click on something in the shop. It goes directly to your bank, and you get the item for free.
BUG: If you bank a stackable item (like ore) and then collect some more in your inventory, when you take the ore out of the bank, the items do not combine.
Is there a hard limit of 20 items per pouch slot? If not, buying items like meat shouldn't tae up two slots. Instead, they should be combined with the meat that is already occupying one of your pouch slots.
Made the mistake of not turning off the grab of common items when I went to work...then got home and realized I made a ton of money selling my horde of common items. :D
I don't really understand the elemental attack stuff. For example, the plain attack on the dragon slayer is higher than the witch sword, but the witch sword is worth more. Do all the +5 elemental attacks combine up to make a higher total attack? If anyone can explain, it'd be much appreciated.
wth is up with the keyboard being so unresponsive? I mean...I realize I'm driving a tank here, but making it actually handle like a tank is a bit much. I read something about it being an intensive game and I needed to pick crappy pc, ok pc, or good pc. I have a core i5 with 3gb of ram. Not great, but not crap, so I picked the middle option. Is a core i5 really so bad that I should have pcked the slow pc option?
Cool!
