Near the end, the weapons that are really worth it to equip are the sniper rifle and the vulcan minigun. With a good enough damage multiplier, the sniper kills many targets in one hit, and with reload maxed out, it can wipe out most waves by picking each target off. However, if there are a LOT of bad guys, use the vulcan. W/ enough accuracy, vulcan does not miss. Other weapons are obsolete (besides charge laser).
I like what ktherock7 suggested. If I lose the battle, I'd like to know what I could do differently to beat the unit that killed me. On that topic, how do I defeat the guys w/ the two swords in Swinebook, on Taurania?

Kinda cool when you have a black swan leading and a flock full of swans. By the way, to get the huge golden flock bonus, have a black swan at the top of your pecking order, and have mockingbirds high on the order. You'll need Zeitgeist adaptation. Play story mode, and if you have a black swan at the end, and several copied by mockingbirds, they will keep calling for geese even while the demo ends, giing you more and more golden score.
Great idea on the mechanoreceptors. Helps to make sure one chance plane, or a group of well placed planes, doesn't wipe out your entire flock. I can't wait for Fall!!! (except for the school >.>)
For you guys stuck on level 19... use a backdooring technique. Build land straight up, and destroy all connections to land. Then make the Golden Gate Bridge to the fire hero totem, create waypoints to guide your people, and voila; the mission ends. Yep, if they were given 10 minutes you would be dead, but you won ^^
