My first thought when I started playing was what are the difference between the 3 paths you can choose when you create your character? My second though was, I have played this before - in Crystal saga by r2games. My third though was, why do all the characters players make look exactly the same ?
Don't get me wrong, it seems like you got a solid product here, but personally I hope you will work harder on finding your own identity. I assume you are familiar with Aeria games and r2games. Crystal saga is a wonderfull source of inspiration as some of the features there are the very best on the marked. However there are many established manga mmorpg's out there allready and you want to stand out from them and try to avoid beeing percieved as a copy. These are my first impressions and first throughts, I will play this some more and see what my thoughts are then.
The gameplay reminds me of Tyrant. I love the athmosphere in the game. The graphics are neat and the music is good. Last but not least this is alot of fun.
This was a nice surprice. I liked the epic music you got in the background. More of that please. Hire your composer to do a couple of more songs, so you got a playlist that you go through. I like the simplicity of it all, it's very easy to keep track of everything and move around in the menu's.
For me this game is a bullseye, I love stuff like this. I don't know what you plan on doing next, but it seem to me that the games that keep the most people for the longest time got the most stuff in it for the players to do. One idea would perhaps to add random events. Pirates strick back, you got a crisis on one of the planets you need to deal with one of your mining planet hit a particular rich ore etc. etc. Keep up the good work !
I hope that you haven't abandoned this project because it got alot of potentional. I would like however if you could play this in full screen and that you added a zoom camera feature. A little more interaction in the beginning to help set the mood would also be great. It would be more interesting in the beginning if you actually got to see different logs at the different terminals. I found the game a little lacking as it is now, but keep polishing it and I am sure it will be a great game.
Hi again, and yeah that helped knowing where to find that boss. I have been thinking a little bit more. As an alternative to offline rations - perhaps you could add rations as login reward ? First returning day 20 - and on day 7 80 or 100 rations.
This game was fun to play. I do have some issues with zombies getting stuck and in this state becomming invincible. The recoil at least at the early weapons is so big that aiming is impossible. I am however very curious to how you will go from here. I hope you will eventually give the graphics a facelift and add more scenario's you can fight on. There is only so long you can run around in circles at the same place and keep it interesting. I do however agree with the positive feedback you have gotten from the other posters here.
This is good work. Your game got alot of potentional. I got some constructive critisism though. I would like it if there you could reload your weapons by clicking on the back of the truck. I was a little frustrated in the beginning of the spawnrate of the undead. That was untill I discovered that you could just ignore them and go straight after the car parts. The undead will follow you, but it's easy to just go around them take the parts and deliver them to the car.
The game runs very smoothly, and I am very curious if you will build on this game or if you will start on new projects taking the experience you gained here with you.
I have to say that I like the new lvl up system that you implemented. Now again I found a couple of missions that's behaving a little weird. When you throw baseballs at the school it looks like he's collecting or crafting something. It's a minor detail, but it would be fun if you could actually see the balls getting thrown, and it would be a funny detail if the coach head came out of a window after you have thrown the last ball. Another more serious thing is that the coach doesn't appear after you have thrown the last ball. I got the mission to kill him, but he's not anywhere on the map.
Now I commend you for making rations a resource. It would however be nice of you made the rations regenerate while you were offline to a total of let's say an hours worth of playing time. At least untill you launch the third zone and more to follow. It would be nice to just login and start playing. Now It's logging scavange buildings pvp and then play.
Hey Tjommi, thanks for the ongoing feedback! It would be pretty sweet if we could get a throwing animation in there, yeah. We're currently spending our resources on 'bigger' features, so that would have to go on a long list of possible things we could get to in the future :) As for the coach - in order to kill him, you have to defeat him in the 'Drop and Give me an Eternity' stage. This is where you find him - hope that helps!
As for rations - we're A/B testing something that would possibly resolve this, because you totally have a point there. Once we get the results of these tests, we'll know more regarding what direction we're going in.
Thanks so much for your continued support!
This was alot of fun. You obviously got alot of talent in your crew. The images introducing the game was beautifull, I do hope you will gradually implement this wonderfull graphic into the main game more. I do however wish that you give us more energy to play with. I got to play this game for 10 minutes, then I had to stop. I can't wait to see what you do with the game next and how it developes.
For grand prix management 2 I am hoping you are making a couple of changes, first of all I would like to see an upgrade in the AI - as commented earlier your car sometimes behave strange. Second of all the oponents aim for you and try to knock you out of position - this isn't rally, hehe. They should try to avoid crashing into other cars if possible. I am sure you will give the graphics a facelift. Now to the good part. This was very fun to play. You get fully deserved 3 stars.
My general thoughts about this game.
I think it's a little bit to dependant on friends if you wish to grow. It's very hard to get out of the beginner stage as your town is constantly waiting for components before you can upgrade. However I am loving the post apocalyptic cartoon graphic style. I am definitely going to keep playing this for a while.
A small bug, in the flowers among the weed quest, it's impossible to search the #8 time, so you can't finish the quest.I search over and over but instead of spawning the flower it just jumps back to the #7 search.
Hi, we are currently looking into this! There is a minor work-around, if you click on the ground and then click back up on the tomb it will let you complete. But it's not ideal and we certainly need to get this fixed. Our engineers are looking into it :)
Making rations a resource, and taking away the cost of inspecting building was a good move. I appreciate that you are listening to us :) I am a little ashamed that I didn't catch that looting was free now, if I did I wouldn't have written the last post. At least I had written it differently.
No need to be ashamed, glad you like that change! We're not done yet, there are still more changes to come, including how rations are used in the game. Very much still a work in progress...
Ok I have played this game for a little while, enough to build up a first impression. I actually liked it, it got alot of potentional I found the game easy to navigate through. I love how you can go in and out of combat without it affecting what you have earned or the xp you have gained. I liked the movement and the fireing system. Now to some constructive critisism. The arab city is horrible to play. It litterary hurt my eyes. I would simply drop the mirrage effect and just go for building variation. Death city was to large. I spendt forever to figure out where the other bots were. The AI in the game needs improvement. I got shot at once perhaps per round. most of the time the other bots just tried to avoid me, but only after I shot them. Floating tanks is good, however I would suggest that you put a shadow under them to illustrate them floating. The design on the tank could look more tanky, more details. Fullscreen in Google chrome crashes the game
My main problem with this game are all the rubbish you have to go through between fighting. They take away your freedom to build your character the way you want. When you spend an entire chapter talking running dogding or whatever, it's pure luck if you have the neccesary stats ready. if you don't to bad, you are going to spend forever to get through those sequences. I can't honestly understand why people put up with it. This game could have been fun but the sadistic way it's build up suck the life out of the player.
I have been offline for quite a while now. Allthough I like this game alot, the rationsystem as it is now is a game breaker. Come on. Forcing us to pvp when all we want to do is to shoot zombies to pieces ? I had 5 people on my pvp list in my lvl range, meaning I had to farm the same people over and over in order to play. Not to mention that the lvls I am fighting now are so hard that my crew falls like flies. That means I need to pvp like crazy to see it all dissapear again after playing 2 scenario's.
I urge you to please reconsider and stop this nonsense with the rations system and remove it all together.
This game sounds promising,
however making a pure multiplayer game when people aren't playing it makes it hard for new players to get into the game. You should focus on a single player game with multiplayer options in it.
We've been discussing some sort of daily log-in reward or 'supply drop'. :) It's on a list of things! Keep the ideas coming!
