I can honestly say I've completed EVERYTHING this game has to offer, twice. Once here, and once on Armor Games. I don't know what to do with my spare time now. Welp, guess I just twiddle my thumbs and wait for badges I suppose.
To whoever it is that first thought that healer creeps are fun, interesting, or otherwise good to have in a tower defense game:
You were wrong. Please die.
Best advice I can give: RANGER'S HIDEOUT IS THE BEST TOWER IN THE ENTIRE GAME. High damage output because of stupidly-fast attack speed, poison lets it engage many targets at once (poison also ignores armor), and Wrath of the Forest is what every single other special ability wishes it could be. Wrath does 120 damage when maxed, and holds entire hordes of enemies at bay for a whopping 3 seconds. Many of the smaller enemies will die outright to the damage from the spell, too.
@frozenshuriken Notice where it says "Max Level X" on the Heroic and Iron challenge screens? That's not just for towers. It's for your upgrade trees, too.
I would just like to say that the Ovinophobia achievement gives the VERY FALSE IMPRESSION that you can kill polymorphed enemies by clicking on them. I've lost MANY levels because of that.
The best tip I can offer is that if a tower built in a slot wouldn't have at least five seconds of fire along a route, or fires on multiple routes, build a Barracks there.
"Oh hey I beat the game, and I noticed there was a whole bunch of achievments I earned on the way! Let's check out what else I can earn!" *clicks to the main menu* "WTF? There's no achievements page? I just have to kind of GUESS what the remaining ones are? Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu-"
By the time I actually got the Spike Storm upgrade for the Spike Factory, the game takes about 2 minutes to register that 15 seconds have gone by because there's so many bloons on screen causing lag.
This game is INCREDIBLE! I'm loooooving it. If nothing else, getting a 100% hit with Tiger Claw is hysterical because one second the enemy is at full health and next they're DEAD.
My will to not hit the walkthrough button broke on literally the last level, after I had found the solution and not realized it. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
Absolutely incredible game, although one question: does anyone actually ENJOY those moments where your keystrokes move both characters at once and you have to focus on moving one in a way that won't cause the other to run into obstacles like a complete tardmonkey?
The Angry Birds level makes me, well, angry. Nothing to do with having to make the symbol of a somewhat overrated game, because it's an alright game that's crazy popular and I get that. It's the fact that at NO point was there any indication that making the big nose thing on a ball meant that you could only paint the lower part. The only way you might've discovered it is totally by accident. It's the only puzzle in the entire game that I felt was unfair instead of just difficult.
The Epic War games just get easier and easier. Like, it's as though this one was made for people with mental issues compared to the first few. I can't even play it because it's so easy that it just makes me sad.
I agree they are too weak at the moment. But I cannot change them otherwise I have to rebalance all the level. It will be fixed in the sequel ;)
