Launchers are rightfully the most expensive pieces. Lay them down end-to-end across the floor (which is a LOT of cash but not so much that it isn't doable) and you just plain go infinite. Even one shell this way would eventually give you 100,000+ combos.
Kinda' dull. I just loaded up on speed, power, and the different arrow weapons. Penta arrows literally allows you to just aim at one point and hit fire until everything is dead.
This game would be good if not for the momentum of the character being so damn strong. I'll take a step or start climbing a wall then go careening into spikes or mines. Also the energy ball shooters are just retarded. 3/5 for a game that would've been great if not for those two things. Thumbs up if you agree.
My only complaint is that the laser weapons (Avenger, Chaos, and the premium Executor) are a bit game-breaking. I most likely could've gone through the final level with Avenger, which costs $1600. I opted for Chaos, which is fairly-priced at $5000 but the only real difference in performance was clip size. Even though the Avenger rates at 1 damage, it still kills pretty much everything except blue and some purple monsters in a single hit.
Tip for Baal: Hold out as long as you have to to get enough mana for the Tower Summon ability, then aim it to plug away at him, decimating the relatively feeble resistance he offers in the form of his minions. Using the Crit-boosting spell thing makes this process MUCH faster.
Here's the best tip I can offer after having beaten the game without so much as being challenged (and I'm not that good of a flash gamer).
Without fail, equip star burst as soon as you get it, and have as many as you can at all times. Do whatever you want with the extra points when you don't have a multiple of 3 gun points on for your maximum. Also, the 15 damage that the initial bullet of a star burst doesn't even compare to the damage that a star burst does to an enemy mid-range from it detonating. Each single pellet of a detonation does 5 damage, 1/3 of the bullet's. In other words, actively aim AWAY from the enemy when using star burst. Good luck and give me +'s to keep it alive.
Quick tip: If you're a member who wants to grind woodcutting quickly, do choking ivy. It's 70k XP/hour and you just sit there and afk, clicking once every like 10 mins.
the game seems a bit TOO tough (i dont mind a challenge, but i do like it to be doable) in that going for a silent kill will result in the enemy turning around and seeing you as soon as you start walking near them. this wouldnt be a problem except im on a level where you can neither be seen nor use your gun. that makes it totally impossible
For the late levels, just grind to max out your upgrade tree (I did the elves, but it probably works with anything) and then max upgrade in battle. Cast the mana-pool increase spell until you can have 9999, then save up mana for the Archangel/Forest Guardian/Whatever the Orc's uber is. For added shiggles, get multiples of them. Back them up with casters and thats game.
