I'm fine with complexity, but when it changes randomly, and multiple times, it's not complex. It's pure RNG. Every time I log back on, I have to reset my waste system, as the outputs get swapped. That has absolutely NOTHING to do with "being mechanically inclined".
The "waste" system needs removed. It' adds nothing to the game, it makes no sense at where it randomly comes out at, and even when you think you finally figured it out, the game LOL's at you and changes it up. It detracts so much from an otherwise good game, and adds, literally nothing.
Also can we have the option to disable your auto adjust? I hate when I change windows briefly the game automatically goes to low-def, then I have to go into the menu and toggle the "Low-Quality Lock"). I honestly HATE games which do this.
Possible bug: (Using Waterfox Browser, the 64-bit Firefox). I can use Ctrl and Shift, but I cannot use Z, 1-4, G or Space. It is isolated only to your game (I have tested it on a few other idle games and they do not have this issue).
Is it possible to draw attack cards? I've been playing for awhile and over 95% of the time I only draw movement/armor cards. If I get an attack card it's usually the weakest possible one.
Read the replies in this thread for some solutions to your problem: http://forums.cardhunter.com/threads/how-do-i-stop-this-happening.6901/ But also note that 95% of the time sounds like an exaggeration ... people are really good at feeling cheated by randomness, and tend to try to find patterns where there are none. Good luck!
So far, it's going well. Still need some speed tweaking (not much, it's close... it still takes me most of the day to get past where I was the previous ascension). A few more suggestions: Toggleable sell order (Cheapest first, Expensive First), Statistics window (has been mentioned before), but also perhaps lifetime total money accumulation.. juuust so we can see how much money (as well as current ascention time, lifetime playtime, as well as all the other stats such as actual crit/power/CritPower, Money per /s, /m, /h , /d.. toggleable of course to fit how we want to see it). Also, how about displaying base value of items/enchants?
There is a bug with the enchanter when offline. He stops working. I just tested this a few times. My BS is producing significantly slower than my Enchanter, yet after coming back from a few hours, I gained very little money and now have ~1000 items in backlog that needs to be enchanted.
Love the big upgrade window! Also I saw someone mention this earlier, I would also enjoy a toggleable "shake" on the bottom for when things crit. It would be nice to be on my enchanter and see my BS just crit or my Merchant just crit.
There are a few things I would like you to consider. 1) Initial speed. I still have yet to ascend, but things are moving at a snails pace. For me, it's not a big deal, but a lot of people like things a bit quicker. 2) Upgrade screen. I think it would be nice to have a screen of all the worker upgrades, so I can see and compare the upgrades all at once instead of click each worker, back and forth, back and forth. 3) Quest order. maybe this is just because it's a slower pace, but I'm 47 quests in an no enchanter (assuming he is the last because of the previous game). It would be nice to maybe have multiple quests I can complete instead of one at a time. Or maybe given the option of which quests to take, with perhaps some prerequisite needed (IE., can't jump to the multi-billion quests right off the bat, but I can pick maybe to focus only on the explorer/Herbalist type quests for awhile. Or focus only on BS quests... Or just work my way up all the quest "trees" evenly.) Just my thoughts.
Very disappointed to see the absolute destruction of a great game, into yet another money grubbing enterprise. If I could rate it negative stars I would.
