Few things to consider (some may be in the game already, apologize if they are):
1) Reorganize the constructions menus. Put your starter buildings at the top, not in the middle. It wasn't until I built a lumber mill and a few mines that I realized a woodcutter existed and was super cheap.
2) Add an income/expense sheet, so we can know what we are getting and spending.
3) Highlight either the resource we are missing for a construction or highlight what we have already, this is just a QoL issue.
4) Have all the troops greyed out and have the ability to mouse over to see what building is needed to make them.
5) From what I can see, there are only hovels. Possibly add different houses that have different functions: Mansions, +2 max pop, +2 silver (limited), Townhouses: +8 max pop, Farmhouse, +2 pop, +1 random food (limited).
Just my opinions.
The only thing I don't like is that once you get near the 20 minute mark, you cannot kill the suicide bombers before they reach your tower unless you use high CD magics. Suicide Bombers should ALWAYS have low HP. I know it scales the longer you go, but come on, they should scale FAR less and should always be able to be taken out by a maxed out fireball + an arrow or two. (Fire and Frost tree are both maxxed for me, and all the Arrow/magic talents in the Demon tree). 5/5 though!
The hidden treasures are all random. Not a bad game, but you misspelled artifact (it's not artefact). Also, I would combine the two magnet researches together (come on, the only difference is one pulls mob treasure the other pulls placed treasure). Instead, maybe add Longer Invulnerability after being hit.
William2000 - You forgot the most obvious and probable: People just leave the window open all the time. *GASP* I know, shocking! I mean leaving the window open is SO DIFFICULT! Instead of being an ass, think.
@fenixnova I was running with a 3000% pick for awhile, but I have "Ultimate Pick +21, p: 3083.52, Qual: 2327.21%" right now. I love the Gem Waster talent :-D
@people complaining about pick axe crafting: look at the % quality of your current pick axe. If it's over 800% it's going to be hard to beat consistently. If you want a better pick, upgrade your Blacksmith a few times then try.
@Leorb The fire weapon is excellent. You do realize the fireballs stay up and damage anything coming onto the screen? It's very powerful when you keep jumping with it and cover the whole screen in fire.
Easiest way to get the last family member:
1) Gear your hotel to about 4 specific types of people (can probably do it with 3).
2) Get rid of ALL advertisements, less people the better (Still place your advertisement filters though!)
It took 6 days of having my hotel like this to get 4 days of all customers giving me 4+ stars. Also, it helps being done with the game and just attempting to round out achievements.
Unfortunate to see such a (possible) great game as only a demo. When will developers learn Demo =/= Good. If you want to make money on flash games, make a full game with premium content (such as Kingdom Rush and Balloon Tower Defense 4).
@Ravenzilla - Dude, this IS the maker of little protectors...
Overall, definately need to have an ability to change who they guys are targetting. Nothing I hate more than my archers ignoring a guy with a sliver of health to attack someone farther away.
Not that hard. You can do it buying either talent first. Just remember you might have to go back to old levels and get missed coins to get your next talent.
As has been mentioned numerous times, you have a MAJOR game-killing bug. It will eventually glitch out, lose your save, and you can't effectively play anymore. 5/5 if Bug gets fixed, 0/5 if it doesn't (as I said, game killing)
3/5. For a game called "Creative" kill chamber, 90% of the kills dealt with directly shooting the person. And there was generally 1 way to kill a guy each level. However, even though it was mostly shooting deaths, atleast the kill animations were nice.
4/5 if you fix targetting. Nothing more annoying than an enemy with less than 200 health about to go into the building and my maxxed out sniper tower targetting the LAST enemy in the line.
Combat Results fighting a monster I should have been able to kill two "years" ago (according to when it was unlocked.
300 Combat Offensive
400 Combat Defensive
Me: 4/45 (over 2 fights, died both times)
Enemy (melee): 10/15 (40 dmg per hit)
Enemy (mage): 5/7 (24 magic), 3/4 (31 melee).
Anyone curious as to why enemy mages are actually more effective in melee than casting?
Lvl 6 requires timing. You put the ball on the right side of the other ball, then quickly put the next stick on the far right, then the long stick on the last remaining block. You should get there just in time.
As for 16, you put the first block on the far left turning wheel so it knocks the two balls to the right. Then put the big ball on the little wooden circle to the right of the box guy. Then out the horizontal piece so it makes a ramp going to the boxguy. With luck one ball will knock him on his head and knock him off his seat.
