Definitely a well built game (i.e. a lot of good time was put into it) but the game play is very monotonous. You simply build factories, flak cannons, gravity wells, repeat. No strategy whatsoever once you figure that out. 3/5 for effort.
FYI: regarding my previous comment. I found out that lasers don't reach all the way to the top so you can never destroy the astroids fast enough with lasers. You need the other cannons that can reach to the top so that you can quickly destroy the astroids and can spawn new ones. Leaves really only one valid strategy for the game. :-/
Are we done with silly games now? We had the "all achievements" game and now this "all upgrades" game. I think that should be it and now we can move on to actual games, right? 1/5
Very slow and laggy on my machine. Granted it's an older machine, there are much more complicated games that work much better so there has to be some improvements that could be made. Still one of my favorite games that's simple yet fun and challenging. 3/5
Just my type of a game! PERFECT! 5/5 More more more levels! :D I do agree with others in that a fast forward button would be great! Also a slo-mo button to analyze where a bridge is breaking would also be super! Still, 5/5, and 6/5 if possible.
Great game! Couldn't stop playing it until it was over. Great gfx and gameplay. Good amount of challenge. Though a little short. Also, I got the missile fabricator just when I finished it so never had a chance to use the bugger. :( Anyway, still a great game. Will look for the sequel for sure. 6/5 if I could but will have to settle for 5/5. :)
Oh, and one suggestion would be to display the total money accumulated during a level so that you can compare one level to the next. And in addition to "Slow mode" and "Fast mode", how about a "Faster mode"? :D 5/5
I can't get enough of this game. Repetitive, yes, but in every level I get to tweak my strategy and improve upon it. Just finished level 7 almost a day early. :-/ 98% at the end of day 17.
A little too fast to provide enough time to strategize fully. Switching to linkage mode and back gets tedious. Isn't there a way to do it all in the same interface? Maybe simply drag the existing items rather than switching the mode? Why can't I just drop a trigger then drag it onto something to immediately activate it? Still a good game. 4/5
You just have to make it to level 11. Then if you keep jumping over the snowmobile dude, you can keep collecting dollars worth 500 a pop. Then you can finish your shopping at one level! You just need enough patience and ability to resist the temptation to kill the guy. Nice game overall. 4/5
4/5. Great game that really deserves a 5, but I deducted one point for putting a pop-up hyperlink to Armor Games at the top of the game window in a game where you have to most of the time keep the mouse up top and click to move around. Countless time that stupid pop-up came up and caused me to have to retry a move. Very very sad placement of that button.
Woo hoo! Made it to 17! 16 really took a while... Great game! Challenging and good variety of tools. Also very fast-paced during the 60 seconds of game play. Keeps you on the edge. 5/5
