Echoing everyone else's comments on AI, usability, etc. Additionally, the game is just too slow, e.g. resource build up, cost of buildings... Too much ramp-up time at the beginning of levels where you do the same thing over and over until you can build up. But then the enemy rebuilds buildings very quickly so it kinda makes air strikes pointless. Overall, i wouldn't mind if the game was about 2x faster time-wise to keep my interest longer. Finally, great job on the game! 5/5
Fun game but a little too luck dependent. I did manage to finish the 5 level game by gaining 20+ red souls using the gold special and a huge blob of black cuties on my second attempt... o.O Overall, good game. 5/5
Overall, not a very good game. The controls are terrible, the feel of the car. The cars turn when you're not even moving, for crying out loud! And cars don't bump each other yet you can bump the walls when you're not really near them but are airborn. 3/5 for effort and time.
Finished it... Only took a long time because I wanted to research everything fighting related. Then I build a whole bunch of divine thingys... Then it turns out, the nme was not researching at all and realized that I could've finished the game in about 1/3 the time. Oh well... Still a fun game. Buggy but fun. One of the bugs is if you're attacking somewhere and the nme attacks you at the same time. It messes the war. I ended up defeating a wild land with a tiny army because the nme attacked at the same time. The fight ended up being between the two enemies instead of me. :D Also, the general system is messed up. I hired new generals but they never showed up. Finally, after a while, when nme attacked me, the fight ended up never happening in my castle. It was always out in the fields. Somehow it got stuck. I had upgraded my castle to max available level, too.
Must be able to save + would be nice to be able to see where troops are on the world view. The "die after you're attacked and are out of troops" is also annoying... 3/5
Would be a great game if it wasn't so predictable. All you have to do is walk around the outer walls and you can almost finish the game. Then add a couple of "dodges" and there you go, end of game... 4/5...
Was going to give it 4 but echoing other comments, too slow in general and also too much time between levels. The final touch was that after level 9, it skipped level 10, and brought me to level 11. Then I decided to go to the main menu and when I selected to "Continue", level 11 was not available. So I'd have to play level 9 again. :-/ 3/5
A little too easy and not enough depth. The "mixing of stones" thing isn't exciting enough since there isn't too much interesting to look forward to. The only useful spells were the lava thing and maybe the fire arrows. Most of the spells are not very interesting. Same about hte trinkets. The idea overall is good, though, so 4/5.
Many games here are built with quality controls that work perfectly in reducing lag. I don't think an old computer is an excuse for not including it in a game. That said, this is still a great game and I gave a 5/5.
I actually might win this if the performance didn't degrade to 1 FPS on crowded screens. I do wish there was a way to turn down the GFX a notch to improve perf.
