4/5 just for adding to the TD genre. However, as already mentioned in other comments becomes formulaic, find the den place cannons and win. I am beating most levels in a minute. One of the best parts of TD games is the leveling depth of buying and selling towers, upgrading etc. While between levels you can use skill points they seem to have very little effect. Does each skill point add a geometric or exponential amount to that skill?
3/5 would rate a 4 but the homing missiles are ridiculously bad, they just go in a circle and putter out, almost never hit. Also stats for tower upgrades would be nice. Realy nicely done graphics. Oh yeah for us impatient folks need speed up
second game i have ever given a 1/5 to, my favorite games are td, this is well ridiculous. If this is your first game I am sorry for being rude, if this is down a long list of games you have made, stop!
Upgrading costs more than a new unit and does not do more than twice damage, and you cut the money situation too close to be enjoyable....
Great game 4/5. only complaint should be able to respec and level both when character is dead and in main screen not just when creeps are coming. Gives the player time to pick a strategy for each hero. Right now i just play the first level and adjust the one hero while the others take care of the creeps, its a little annoying
ridiculously bad, you took a great idea and manifested as one of the worst games I have ever played on Kong. No answer given when you lose (even when you are sure you have the right answer), misplaced spaces, wording everything sucks, i must be in a bad mood cause I wanna say I hate you and hope you never make another game 0/5
easiest way to kill semi-boss on hilltop for the exp: from the portal walk to the right until you have his attention as he is following you move downwards until you see the hut, walk around the right side of it and get below it, the boss will stay above it poking at you while your dragon kills him. Worked every time for me once i figured it out by accident. Great way to level up, I started doing it at level 5, before i could even reasonably kill him...
I know your notes say that the absence of hot keys is on purpose for balancing but then the game quickly becomes a mad dash for which character is ready to shoot next, and more often than not as i am going to hover over a character ready to fire they are then shot and delayed. I like the idea, the graphics are great, but for now it is too much of a grind...not in difficulty just the feel of gameplay, will continue to check back for changes as I do like it. rated 3/5 for now
awesome game, played when it first was posted with no story mode, 4/5 it then, plus the upgrades now this is one of the most original, thoughtful, and fun games on Kong, make a sequel! 5/5
best way to prevent glitch: dont press any button after encounter (whether with buccaneer, enforcer, etc) until the little window has floated back from the center to its normal spot in the top right section of the HUD. If you push GO because you are impatient and another encounter happens before the window can get back to its original place all these glitches everyone is talking about will occur. Hope this helps
horrendous fail, i love strategy games, but this is just bad, the bugs around level 8 are too strong, the upgrades appear to happen somewhat randomly in the middle of a level without giving the player an idea of when or relative strength of each. I don't mind losing a couple times until i can figure out a proper strategy, but endless grinding is ridiculous. The AI can have one inhabitant in a hut and i can send 40+ units towards it and still cannot overtake the base....1/5 until you can rebalance the game and give the player a semblance of how the upgrading works
at the end of the level among other things your remaining money is multiplied by 5, so when the level is over sell everything before you hit continue, easy way to buff up score
i like the game 4/5, everyone on kong always writes "too easy" to show their superiority or "stupid, lame, too hard" when they cant beat it in the first try, personally i kinda like games that are beatable first try through but just have a little work involved, like this one, good job
forget about unbalanced, it is just lacking any thought to have creeps come reverse up the trail that heal as they pass the other creeps coming the normal route...too tight with money to make it even reasonable or fun, never said this before (i think) but FAIL
Ziziko13 I feel like i don't even know you anymore...wait I don't know you, this game is far better that toss the turtle, better controls, better upgrades, less evil death obstacles...plus we get to smack a person around that i imagine closely resembles you :P
