My main beef with this game is that I don't feel like I'm solving any problems, I'm just putting things in the only place they logically fit. I'm not doing the math or anything, I'm just going "This piece has to go here or else the water won't hit one of the static pipes"
I agree with so many of these comments. The game is addicting but the control is terrible and it's quite annoying to boost into a large galleon only to have MAYBE one guy fall out of it... the same with a little canoe! Seriously, it's a bit frustrating to have to hit the larger ships so many more times even when you're 100 tons. Why don't I do more damage when I'm larger?
Incredibly repetitive. No strategy involved whatsoever. It got to the point that I was able to beat epic up to about level 12 by just hitting assault as soon as my heroes spawned and tabbing to another window. After that it was just spam shield while I killed bosses or destroyed their castle.
So it's a neat game. All I can say, though, is DO NOT force a player to move their most important unit. I can't tell you how many deaths I had in the bombing run level because my base decided that I wasn't smart enough to move it out of a bomb, so it decided to counteract my orders and go somewhere else, fighting me and then not making it out of the explosion in time. Don't coddle the player, they're smart enough to control their own forces.
