@Samegerilja
By upgrading your towers, of course. Each type of tower can be upgraded to an anti stealth tower (including your hero). The first one to achieve this is the ranger tower, if I recall correctly.
As it is now, it's a pay-to-win game. No chance to compete with those who spend a lot of money. And why am I not allowed to further fight in the arena? My 4th-level avatar with level 10 to 12 cards only gets opponents being god with level 30 to 40 cards. An arena should at least offer fair fights.
Here's a layout working very well on the beach. [Spoiler: Don't look at it, if you want to find out for yourself] http://i61.tinypic.com/qycvnk.jpg It works well in conjunction with the wave editor: to get 600k+ you need a wave sequence that has a score rating of 230+. Also, select a sequence with as little flying waves as possible, especially avoid the red flying gorliks. They are too tough for a layout with only one western. Good luck!
As michalet says: This is a known game. I didn't like it the first time, and it didn't change anything since the last time, so I still don't like it...
It's ok to not like a game at all - but don't throw in "unbalance". If it were such a unbalanced random crap, how come that I can repeatedly score over 600k? Just learn what the towers do, what the best combination is, and use the wave editor! For example, play on the beach, use a wave sequence with as less red flying gorliks as possible (under 3) and with a certain tower layout (that I can't elaborate on here) you'll get over 600k, if you start every wave early and use the 4 tools, ending with 20 life and a satisfying feeling of having beat this hard td game.
@Cotsos Yes, seems to be a bug produced when your towers shoot at the ones climbing. This confuses the engine as it seems, because you will also notice some of them being attacked although invisible. I guess some of them changed their state: While they are invisible they are shown visible and vice versa.
I'm not sure if you're aware of it, so I thought I better share it: Whenever the dragon flies on "Beresad's Lair", you can click his gold. This gives you 100 gold each time. Pretty helpful.
@Nyves
There's a lot of little secrets all over the levels. Keep clicking on the arabian camel for example, to become a killer ;) Or click on the frog, or help Indy, click on the vulture, etc.
By sheer luck I managed level 7, just to see me being stuck on level 9 now. Tried for hours and hours, I finally give up. I just don't have the time to wait for the luck to kick in.
This game is an example of what happens if the devs test their own game (they are so used to it, that the difficulty is raised more and more over the development) instead of running beta tests with neutral people... Could have been a cool game. That's sad.
I was sceptical at first, but now that I played the first 30 levels all I can criticise is the frequent freezes (I assume a Unity player issue) and an overall small canvas (fullscreen option maybe?). Considering that this is your first td it plays amazingly well balanced. It's almost a shame that the overall rating doesn't go beyond 4.
Some changes to make the game being less fun and more challenging. It's like either IriySoft is a bunch of sadists or think that we are a bunch of masochists. When will developers accept that a good game is fun AND challenging, not challenging with a mild notion of fun?
After having tried for days to pass level 9, I have to adjust my first comment. It only makes fun until level 9. It's the ghosts that make it impossible to pass.
Out of curiosity: Did anybody manage to pass level 9? If so, how?
A tough game with quirks, but I like it somehow. Don't know why, but it feels good if you get your 3 stars after a lot of trial and error. Only unfair thing is that ghosts change their beginning state depending on the positioning of towers, which makes it almost impossible to get 3 stars on level 7.
Rated 4/5 just because of the difficulty settings. I didn't expect that "normal" is indeed "hard", and can't switch to "easy" for the last level. Maybe it's just me, but I tried level 14 (with all previous levels at 5 stars) at least 30x at "normal" - no way. Got to wave 18, but then I couldn't withstand anymore...
