Good game, needs improvement in controls, it's a pain to have to deselect, and a major issue if you think you have and you haven't before switching planet type.
This game seems promising, but is marred by a few flaws. One of the issues is that the first few levels are quite hard because there's a fine line between hitting the ground and overshooting. It gets easier with the heavier ball later. Need an alternate control option to allow more strategy in how to attack the castle vs. split second timing to even get through the first couple levels. More interesting upgrades would be great, and make scoring consistent and clear. Show score needed to advance during round. fix the walls sliding sideways even after two hits. Walls cracking after two hits would help.
Seems like you need to farm gold before leveling so you can buy all the skills of the next level right away. I'm struggling now on level 4 as an engineer. Not able to win against paladins with 2 healing spells, when I can only block 1 of them at a time.
Not really my type of game, too much luck and skill combined in layers, i.e, I have get good at this, then get lucky three times in a row. But I gave it 5/5 because for what it is it's amazingly well done. I got my 4 bandaids, now I need to go lower my heart rate.
I just hit a bug on level 19, somehow related to entering the telephone booth while picking up a box. Upshot is no robots on the screen and no timer running.
One major omission is in the instructions. I'm not alone in trying to click on a dot rather than open space, which leads to total fail in terms of getting started in the game. Other than that good player vs. player mind games trying to get position vs. potential moves by opponents. Very simple mechanic, and some luck.
I'm also having trouble with 'Get off your seats'. How is 10 seconds of continuous jumping defined? I've tried back to back continuous jumps, and I've tried jumping onto an uplift so I never land.
Boons, thanks for the tip, totally hadn't thought about being able to jump and push back in the opposite direction.
Anyone want to post a hint for 5-2? is it just a matter if timing jumps? that seems to work for me to get the 1st wheel across, but the 2nd gets stuck still. (a corpse on the spikes works, but that's a death.)
I have 1 death on:
1-3,1-4,2-2,3-2,3-3, and 5-2. I'm 1 away from getting to the end with 25 lives. Anyone tell me which of the above are possible with 0 deaths? I haven't been able to figure out what to try next.
