Oh my god. If I prepare to shoot and then walk, I can shoot myself with my own arrow. The graphics are standable but the gameplay is just a big NO. The instructions say to defend my castle, but I lose if the enemies just *touch* me? Needs much refining.
Awesome, awesome game. Nice song at the end too. I really can't think of anything that needed much improvement -- besides for the really little things, like being able to click out of building infrastructure/vehicles without going back to the sidebar and clicking "back" (maybe there is a way that I just haven't noticed).
The easy badge is kind of broken for now, but there is a temporary solution: you can start a new game and earn 100 gold. As long as you don't save, you won't lose your previous character. Regarding the actual game... there are lots of bugs. This game has a lot of potential, but everything is ruined by the amount of bugs. Anyways, I defeated the last boss at lvl 33 as a warrior with two of the rarest/strongest (purple-bordered) equipment of my three allies (sword from Blademasters, legs from Merchants). The 4th boss and the last boss were total cake walks with this set up.
Initially interesting, but gets boring quickly as the levels go on and on and the amount of new spells run out. The player doesn't even have any defense against the enemies besides trying to dodge, which doesn't help much as the arrows travel way faster than you walk.
Little things like a "return to menu" button separate a good game from a better game. I do like how the enemies' remains make up the background though.
Fun, but really not much replay value. It's a interesting idea for a game though For those having difficulty with the hard badge, it might be wise to turn down the quality. Movement seems to be much faster, though my computer can handle high quality fairly well.
Despite being a kind of a puzzle-hater, I really liked Loops of Zen and I'm really glad there's a sequel! Haha, I found it slightly amusing that the instructions were shaking around in response to what happened last game.
Beautifully surreal game. Love the retro graphics style; this reminds me strongly of danielben's I Wish I Were the Moon. The little snippets of text at the ending totally creep me out. Please keep this type of unique game coming!
Terrible, terrible game. A player should be able to figure out how to play a game not by reading the instructions manual, but by actually playing. Instead, I am presented with rows and rows of icons that don't mean anything to me. I played one game and got the card; I don't even know how to tell between waves.
Love how there's a little story kind of thing going on. Music is awesome as well. The only thing that I thought made it a bit easier than it could've been is that some of the "differences" in different levels were the same. For example, bracelets, rings, etc. I see that it says "spot NEW differences" at the end, so I assume the differences are generated from a set pool. Maybe I was just unlucky (or lucky?!)
Excellent storyline and very suitable music. The faults have been mentioned many times already, so I won't reiterate again. Only a minor annoyance is the lack of apostrophes in dialogue during cutscenes. I look forward to your future games.
Okay, honestly speaking, the buttons look like it was automatically generated on some website and pasted in this game. I like the concept of a flash games quiz, but this wasn't well executed.
Definitely not the first of the "click the topmost object" series, but good execution. Nice presentation, I love the colors and the music, but I don't know if it was intended or not: I find that when tiles of the same color are together, I'm not looking at whether one tile is on top of another anymore, but at which tile is "longer' than the other. Maybe some sort of a drop shadow would help?
Good idea that could've had better execution. Personally, the lag thing annoys me to death. Why should I have to be "more careful with my drawing"? I don't think the point lies within a neat drawing. Sometimes I have to rely on speed to get through. Also, a lot of times I KNOW my cursor isn't in the no drawing zone and it won't draw because the brush is too big. I was on the verge of completing the game until I read the comments about save not working. Please fix this.
