Awesome way to take out Bernard in World's Saviors: Load a martial character up on dark resistance (dark absorb cloak w/ skill, dark hat w/ skill, solaar's dual amulet thingy, and anything else you have) and physically attack him. You will deal however many damage. He will use "Heh." This reaction deals (using my stats) almost two thousand damage. You will have 300% resistance OR MORE. This will heal your martial character up considerably. Note that "Heh." is a drain move. Drains do work in inverse, dealing damage if you heal your opponent. He will deal DOUBLE the move's normal damage... to HIMSELF.
@retroftw: *Warning, spoiler answers* No, only if Mardek was extraordinarily greedy (have we been playing the same game?) and if not, why would he take it?
If this game loaded faster, then I would actually play it. As it is, it simply loads too slowly for me to bother with it. 2/5, because it is so slow to load that I'm not playing it, but it looks like it could be good.
@Nick: If you find where it saves on your computer, then yes. And yes, I have found where it saves to my computer (to send a friend's file, which he started on my computer when I showed it to him, to his computer.)
Forget best flash RPG. Forget best flash GAME. Forget best RPG. This is, IMO, the best freaking VIDEOGAME that there IS, ANYWHERE. At the very least, it is the best one that I have played. EVER. Some games deserve a 5/5. Some games deserve a 6/5. Some deserve even better. This game deserves a gopublishthisfreakinggamelikenow/5.
I find it irritating how when one of the enemies dies because of Elwyen's Dolorous Dirge song, Elwyen doesn't get the extra XP as if she had killed it. After all, she was the reason for its demise...
Hey, Pseudolonewolf: Mercaeador's sprite has the monocle on the opposite side of his picture. I am not sure if this is intentional; in either case, I figured I would bring it to everyone else's attention so that they would also be bugged by it. :P
Wow, that's annoying. I equipped Donovan with a blood gem so that he drains hp, then attack a fire phage anyway. THAT, naturally, is the time that he crits. Talk about the random number god... (tvtropes, if you're curious.)
@Conquerer95: Well, Happy Johnny DOES have a 70% evade chance... That might have something to do with your eight consecutive misses which, while uncommon, is not overly unlikely (6% chance.)
@Gere: The graphics are "bad" because that is what fits the game. Imagine this game with COD graphics - Good? No, absolutely TERRIBLE. Why? Because that's not in the style of the game.
Weak plot? Not compared to many PROFESSIONAL games. How much plot do you see in videogames in GENERAL? If you mean how the fifth wall is crying over the remains of it's predecessor (in other words, how meta it is), then that is for all of the people with a good sense of humor and who enjoy a good parody. If you don't, well, then, I'm sorry for you, because you will miss out on a lot that way.
In any case, it's in the "Best of 2010" for a good reason - because many people actually enjoy its sense of humor, the appropriate graphics, etc. If you don't enjoy that, well, then you are beyond help.
There should be a PVP option, where one person makes the towers to fend off the other person's monsters. Neither know what the other player is using, and you need a certain number of raid points to win as the attacker, and you prevent them from getting that as the defender. The army size and everything could vary by battlefield.
