If you take 'The Company of Myself' and compare it to this game, the level where jack 'kills' Kathryn, and the last level of this game, is the biggest part in my opinion. In TCOM, the ending credits basically explain that he went insane after he accidentally killed Kathryn and he put her in a green box. In this game, she talks about her garden(backyard) where she's found in TCOM.
So, yeah. It all kind of falls together. Jack was a drug abuser trying to get away from his normal life, but it just made it worse when he met Kathryn.
Actually had something funny happen in one of the very early matches. I got one of my skeleton mages to the end, in front of the enemy's portal, so turns out it decided to camp there and protect my zombies while they got through.
I hate dieing because of a god damn mage, that hits at least 10+ on me about each attack, and lose 2 HP from death. Currently, I've lost 4 HP so far from just mages killing me. It's bad enough I can't tell which type of monster I'm about to fight, but now I lose HP per battle with no way to get it back? Great. That can't go wrong at all.
I liked the other games. This game made the training WAY too hard. 1/5. 10K on the first running mini game leveled me by about 4 levels. That's...not a lot.
I'm not going to lie, still to this day, that security demon pisses me the off and it's unnecessary. It makes me want to throw my computer out the window.
Rate my comment down if you want, I don't give a shit. All I want to say is, this game pissed me off for god sake. It's hard to win a fight against someone with 500-ish HP when you have around 250.
Wow, I'm surprised. I always thought the developers were greedy bastards, based on Sorcery Quest. At least they TRIED to improve this game. They listened to the players. I am surprised.
