Is there any way to set this so I can view something else and leave the game unpaused? I'd love to able to read another page or something for a few minutes while waiting on the income to buy the next thing my guests demand, but the game pauses whenever you do anything else.
Other fish farms would be nice. Less waiting time but less valuable fish. Or the ability to turn your upgrades on and off at will, such as keeping good fish prices for awhile if they come up, and letting it cycle faster when they're all cheap. Upgrades for snail catching, like a faster or wider bucket.
Ok, I'll just start on Casual and see how it goes. Level 1 *bullets everywhere* Not too bad, but I don't think casual means what you think it means. Still, fun game and great upgrade system.
This game has great potential, and is pretty good for a concept game. But the fact that you can only jump, then move, hurts a lot. If I could be moving and hit jump, I would love this. But I have to stop moving for a fraction of a second to jump, which is usually time you don't have. Please give us better jumps and I'll play this like crazy.
Are the plants supposed to be able to shoot through walls after 600 meters, or am getting a glitch? Bullets aren't coming through the walls, I just take damage if I'm touching a surface when it gets hit.
Stuck on lvl 4. Tried ip3ly's tip but monsters from the next lair or two up just spawn and wreck everything. And the moment a few ranged units spawn for the heroes they kill the minotaurs. Would be nice if the centaurs could move. As it is they just stand there and watch your melee units die two tiles over.
Fun game but seems very unpolished. I'd like to give it a 4 or 5 but it still needs work. Pause button, the countdown on selection screens is annoying, can't see level descriptions before playing (I know it doesn't matter much but it would be nice), and gaining experience takes a very long time and isn't helped by there only being a handful of enemies that drop it. I really do like the game but there's still a lot of basic things to do before I would call it finished.
Yep, this is clearly a music and rhythm game when I just finished both badges after turning OFF that noise. Thank you mute button, you make it much easier to concentrate.
Fun game but could use a few tweaks. A lot of the issues have already been covered so I'll just add that the visual effects make it quite hard to see enemy fire sometimes which gets frustrating fast. Also, a health upgrade of some sort would be really nice given that by the end there are enemies that can take you out in one or two shots. The shields are nice, but the "Can't move/shoot" is a really harsh trade-off.
1) Wall o text needs to pause
2) New units should follow command for the rest of their type
3) Revenge waves are too big. Skills mean nothing in the face of twice your army showing up.
4) Could we get a Hold the Line option? I'd like my hero to hold back the enemy units spawing at twice my rate until I have some troops, but not keep going after the next guy until he aggros the other hero.
5) Difficulty ratings for battles would be nice.
6) Enemies get revenge waves, more unit types, and spawn faster than the player. Could we please have a way to grind for gold/xp? Otherwise once you hit that battle you can't beat it gets really frustrating really fast.
If there's ever a sequel *hint hint* it would be nice to have a shop somewhere along the way. Maybe through the inventory, since that's where you sell gear, or every 5 floors or so. And it would be awesome to have a "Retire" option that starts you over with a new character and say, half the wealth of the retired character.
Thanks for the help jazzsaxgod. I don't know why it's still giving me trouble with the saves, but I'll figure it out and come back for another playthrough. 4 stars for now, assuming it continues to be as fun at later levels.
@jazzsaxgod, where is the save function? I've looked but haven't found one and everything else is saving right on other games. I don't think I have any settings that would prevent just one game from saving so I want to be sure I'm not just missing something simple before I start digging around in my system for issues. Though as long as it saves for everyone else I can at least raise my rating since the few levels I have time to play are pretty fun.
One star for a game with no save function. If I could give zero I would, because having to do everything from start to finish in a single session is inexcusably stupid. When I select the Menu and quit, there's a "Continue" option on the menu. But if I actually move away from the page, I have to start over from the beginning. Why?
I seem to be missing something. When I quit the last time, there was a Continue option on the menu. Now I come back and the only option is to start a new quest. Help?
