This is really a complete copy-paste of emanueleferonato's tutorial about how to make a game. The code is exactly the same. You really can't write a single line of code yourself, can you? You didn't even remove the gravity and wind vars while you didn't use them! I'd not be suprised if the reason you didn't tell us how the code works, is because you don't even know it yourself! Beside the fact that this game is a violation on the copyrigth laws, you didn't even show the full code at once and made us have to scroll it... without scrollbar. 1/5 is a generous rating for this.
Complete copy-pasta of an open-soure tutorial. 1/5. If you use a tutorial, then at least ADD something to it and make sure it doesn't exactly look like all others (different graphics etc.)
There are really a lot of bugs, most of them occur when you instantly go after winning a battle. It also leaks memory (the longer you were traveling, the lower the framerate). Would be 4/5 but now 2/5 because you were to lazy to spend a few more hours (out of the 1.5 years - how on earth could this have taken 1.5 years anyway?) to fix the bugs.
Way too easy, Once you discover tech level 2 (and with that, I mean avaidible from the start), just build a battle centre as soon as posible, a resource mine with a few mining drones, 1/2 power stations, 1/2 repair drones, some attack drones (determines on your starting resources, higher resources = less drones), and the rest on torpedo turrets. Once you're defended well (4/5 torpedos), destroy your attack drones and build mining drones instead. Once you have plenty of recources and there are multiple planets which are worth capturing it (don't bother about the very small ones), make a mobile construction ship and do it all again on that planet. Then built a research centre and research the highest tech level. After you're done with that and have lots of resources again, start building some interplanetauiry missile silos and destoy every building you can reach with them. One the enemy is severly weakened, trade in your mining drones for powerful ships and destoy the enemy.
People don't seem to understand buttons... The hit fase of a button IS AN INVICIBLE FASE: it reflects where you can click on the button, this is useful when your buttons are 100% letters: the player doesn't have to click the letters exactly, but just the are specified my the hit fase. The hit fase will never becume visible - SO IT DOES NOT MEAN 'when the button is pressed and released'. 1/5 for telling lies. Also, it should really mention the removeEventListener() for AS3, otherwise your memory clog up with listeners that aren't used anymore and slow the game unnessasairy down that way. Sad that it's impossible to give 2 times a 1/5
1. Using onClipEvent is a bad habit. 2. Using startDrag is a bad habid. 3. DON'T SET THE REGISTRATION POINT IN THE MIDDLE (it doesn't tell you to do so, but the example mouse does) 4. 1/5
I don't like the new sound FX (since 0.7.06), I liked the sounds before (background music+jump FX) more. You should be able to choice which sounds you want to hear and which sound not in the options.
