2142.462 s probably won't replay it, but it kept me interested and it goes to show that all you need is some creativity to make a fun game. i was a little worried that after getting all the letters i have to find some other hidden path to reach an exit:) glad I didnt have to do that.
The top half of the map screen is all messed up. The graphics get jumbled together. This Just started happening yesterday. I've cleared the cache and reinstalled unity, but that didn't help. Anyone else seen this problem?
Nice variety of weapons. Probably some of the guns can have a longer range. And what does realistic line of sight mean? I don't think I noticed much difference when I turned it off. Also when I cranked up the number of NPCs the game lagged terribly.
if realistic line of site is on you cannot see enemies behind walls unless your guy has direct line of site, otherwise you can always see them.
Yes the game sadly is very resource laggy when you up the NPC's =/ my first major html 5 project, i wasnt aware of its capabilities, or in this case limitations ;|
still need to re-verify this, but it seems that if you kill something after it leaves the edge of the screen and come back, the game doesn't register it as a kill, and thus you can't get 3 stars. i had that happening on lvl 1, then when i made sure to kill every enemy the 1st time they appeared on screen, i finally got all the stars.
The storyline is decent. The retrographics are also pleasing on the eyes. The action feels kind of simple, maybe there should be stats upgrade and more attacks? An automatic save would also be helpful. My game glitched and wouldn't continue after the scene at the HQ where the head of the syndicate said something about accelerating the plan, blew away the guards, and turned his sweater vest into a suit. After reloading I had to start from the beginning again.
The game looks nice and the controls are responsive, but regarding vehicle control, if the control scheme is intended to be realistic, i.e. the directions of the turn are relative to the car and not the map, then when when you back up while turning right, the back of the car should go right instead of left, and the front of the car should face left.
Thanks for feedback. Controls was not supposed to be realistic since this is arcade. You press W - car goes in direction it currently facing. You use A, D to turn car. It is simple as that I just can't understand what people find difficult in that?
After winning the last fight, my game just gets stuck at the battle screen and doesn't continue. of course the progress isn't saved when I reload so the last fight has to be redone. Please fix this.
it's "chang ban po", not "chang bai po". and it's not mrs gump, it's mrs. gan. the game also doesn't continue after you reach mrs gump? the 'next' button doesn't work.
glitched on the level that the vampire boss first appeared. one of the "danny trejo" zombie's sprite didn't disappear when killed, and later on my character was stuck between that and the boss when the boss was throwing punches and i couldn't move. not killed or damaged, just stuck there. other than that this game's very satisfying.
i'd like to recommend that for the sequel (if you plan to make one), have three gun slots, two of which for pistols and the third one for any weapon. give player the option to assign a second pistol either as a second weapon or as a dual wield.
i happen to think this game is fine the way it is. given the rpg aspect, there is no need to make the TD aspect the same as other TD games where upgrades add to damage and radius or trees can be chopped down to make way for towers. there is always a way to figure out the best combination of gears and cowboys to use in order to not lose your cows.
alien high commander: ok we need to send a team in to retrieve the artifacts, we'll send our best man (you), plus 3 soldiers.
soldier #1: what equipment do we get?
alien high commander: only invisibility, and your team leader has to earn creds to buy better weapons, we are not running a charity here.
soldier #2: what are we up against?
high command: elite humans and robots with grenades, mines, extra shields, katana, big guns...
soldier #3: and you expect us to retrieve the artifacts and save our planet?
high command: yes, should be a piece of cake.
soldiers: just checking...
You: Wait a sec. if the meteors are going to hit earth first, doesn't that mean they'll just blow up and be gone? they are not gonna just go through and head to our planet. so why do we even bother with this war?
