I don't like the recent change that let's players leave the game easily with the 'back' button when the game is in the 'building' phase. As I understand, after 4 players join and the game initializes, this is when the difficulty is set, so it is very annoying when players leave at that stage. Once I decided to play through a map with one other person despite two more players leaving, and the amount of reward we got didn't even cover the amount of resource we had to spend (ammo, turrets etc.).
cool game. only recommendation is to make it easier to upgrade without having to drag the cannon to the bottom of the tower. another minor suggestion is to include the strengths and weaknesses of each enemy in the encyclopedia (vulnerable to saw, resistant to lightning etc.).
If it hasn't been mentioned, it would be helpful to have your character shoot back automatically when fired upon by long range attacks, because it's hard to see enemies outside of the viewing field. I've also noticed that ranged attacks can go through buildings to hit you, a minor irritation.
Hey Vashsghost, thank you! We discussed an auto-fire defense for avatars previously, but many of the complaints we get regarding game-play surround people feeling as if they don't have enough control - I think that this would ultimately cause more complaints in the future. We're taking a bit more of a classic arcade approach (remember Elevator Action? Might be dating myself here, but it was available for the original Gameboy) in that ranged firing can do damage even when enemies are off-screen. That being said, the enemies that shoot through buildings is something we're looking into getting sorted out. Thanks for playing our game!
oops, pressed enter by accident before the comment was finished. I was going to say that I'm not trying to nitpick. Just wanted to point out the details.
A couple of comments besides what others have said: (1) Snow White is not blonde. (2) The title should be 'The Escape of Snow White'. There shouldn't be a 'the' before 'snow white'. Not making
so i just ran into the grenade glitch where i picked up a nade and the screen went back to the night sky scene. restarted the game and the saved game is gone.
I think this might be a bug. I'm doing the challenge level 'defection'. One of my allies captured a flag and i followed him back to the base, which gave me a score of +1 (the scores were 2:1), but then the ally defected and the scores suddenly switched to 1:2 (i.e., i lost the point that was gained and the enemy gained a point.)
